The bike comes with 2 gas tanks, the original fiberglass and a steel tank that modern fuel does not destroy. The front brake is original and stops like a disc brake bike. The frame is the original. The engine runs very well. The fiberglass tank, even when sealed, leaked. It has never been crashed although we did have to remove a few scratches on the original mufflers before chroming

This Norton has retained the Atlas model type unpolished valve covers, as cast and un-chromed footrest supports, brake, shift and starter levers that were used on these very early Commandos

I replaced the red plastic brake lines with modern braided lines but then I chose to go back to the original plastic lines just for originality. This frame was not one of the bikes that received the upgrade so I had a professional welder do this
