Seller's comments and description: 1975 moto guzzi custom/café. I have owned this bike for the past two years and of all the 20 plus tonti guzzi's i've owned this is by far the best running / handling / looking of the bunch. It was originally owned, and most of the custom work was done, by george dockray. ( google george dockray moto guzzi for some interesting history) he has built several guzzi customs which have been featured in motorcycle classics and cycle world magazines. He was a bush pilot and aviation mechanic for years and now restores rolls royce's. The thought and attention to detail that went into the build is truly impressive. I have a detailed log book of the project as well as dyno run printouts etc. Some of the highlights are as follows: 1. Complete engine build with balanced crank, gilordani 949cc nigisil cylinder and pistons, b10 spec cam, 36 mm carbs, flowed polished and dual plugged heads, dyna coils and ignition, cases were bored to accept fitment of later model filtered sump, sump spacer and windage plate. Saprisa alternator and regulator/rectifier. 2. Evan wilcox, tank shop, handmade aluminum tank. 3. Dual front disc conversion with floating rotors. 4. Ducati 900ss replica seat from germany with custom quick detach mounting system. 5. Custom fabricated low mount battery box. 6. Whistler radar/laser detector with monitoring system tied into a custom wiring harness. 8. Agostini rearsets. 11. R90s handlebar with bar end turn signals. There are many more details i'm sure i've overlooked like the stunning paint. All in all it is a fantastic machine and a joy to behold and ride!
