This 1978 Mercury Marquis Brougham is in amazing condition that can be drivenacross the country on day one! The coolest Panther I've ever seen, and thebody is solid (rust and bondo free desert car)! Factory A/C Blows Ice Cold (itwas converted to be compliant). Power Door Locks, Windows, and Seats Control (functional). Big Touch Screen Stereo (tunes,satellite, Bluetooth capability). The interior is in great condition! The mileson the OD are original. Flip Headlights (functional). The rims in the picture comewith the vehicle along with the original spoke wheels and tires along with afull size spare are all included with the sale of the vehicle. Up to one year agothe vehicle's entire life was spent in the Arizona desert before beingtransported to Florida. There's no rust, and no accidents. It's beenpainted once within the last year. Black is the original color. The landau roofwas dry and had a few cracks, so the top was replaced when it was painted. It shouldbe noted that when the landau top was removed there was no rust beneath, andthat's very unusual for these cars. It speaks to how solid this car is andhow well it has been persevered. I've invested thousands of dollars in thiscar, so it's a steal with a very reasonable reserve price. If the reserveis met I'll be selling this vehicle at a 50% loss. All the west coastemissions garbage was removed along with the catalytic converter that assistedin a significant power boost. This is probably the greatest bargain classic onany site that I've seen. New vinyltop in the correct material. Zero rust ever, perfect chrome side moldings. Repainted 5 years ago in the factory colors, paint job is a solid ten footer. Working halogen headlights, sport mirrors and marker lights. Near perfectinterior has new carpet and headliner, unblemished dash pad, PW, PDL and 6 waypower drivers seat. Deluxe map light, power trunk release and AM/FM stereo withpower antenna (not functioning but new mast is included). Also included is apair of used but in great condition plastic arm rest bases in the correctcolor. A/C has been converted to R134 and will require charging. The Drivers seat has a few fold over marks and a small tear, but the back seats are clean as can be. Almost like he never had anybody sitting back there. The carpet is faded in in some spots but is still in nice condition, no holes or tears. Call anytime with questions…. 1978 mercury grand marquis 48,000 miles power everything- seats,windows,locks, antenna. Interior is very clean. No cracks in dash brand new gas tank, sending unit float, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, thermostat, carb rebuild, fuel pump,egr and pointless vacuum lines deleted, and fresh oil change. Runs great although it is cold blooded ( electric choke unhooked) transmission shudders under load in second gear at times. Can get a used tranny for $75 and installed if interested very straight car for it's age. Sat in a garage for 10 years before i got it. Yes the paint is faded but would make a great patina car call or text anytime.
