Exterior used to be beige, but I've since painted it a nice matte black for more of a rat-rod "Mad Max" look. Interior is in great shape, seats have no tears or deformities, power seats and windows work. I have invested in new tires, spark plugs, floor mats, and a fresh coat of matte black enamel paint that doubles as rust protection Power Seats

It still retains it's correctly mounted - factory original - dash mounted lincoln vin tag - factory original - trunk lid mounted jacking instruction sticker - original - 1978 lincoln continental mark v owner's manual and the factory assembly line build sheet !!, all of which are shown in several pictures. At the heart of this mark v is what appears to be the very strong !! - original - optional !! - code "a" - 460 cid v8 motor that is running very well and also sports the original 4 barrel intake manifold, original exhaust manifolds, original valve covers, original air cleaner housing and the original 4 barrel carburetor. Sounds great too with the factory style true dual exhaust system. The engine is backed by a smooth - code "u" - c6 "select-shift" - three speed automatic transmission which is also functioning very well. All of the original black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in good condition for being original. This mark v comes nicely equipped including working factory air conditioning that was just professionally serviced including a new compressor and blows cold !!, factory power steering, factory power 4-way disc brakes, factory power windows, factory power door locks, optional factory dual 6-way power adjustable front seats, factory front and rear seat belts, factory power wipers, original dual chrome remote side view exterior mirrors, original day / night rear view mirror, factory gauge clusters, factory trip odometer, optional factory "miles to empty" gauge, optional factory power sunroof, good heater and defroster, original cartier clock which is no longer working, optional factory cruise control, factory power antenna which is no longer working, working factory hide-away headlights, optional factory driver's side view mirror mounted thermometer, factory glove box mounted trunk lid release, factory front cornering lamps and factory back up lights. This mark v has great looks and awesome 460 v8 power as well... What's not to like ?! The suspension and drive line all seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. All of the original stainless steel and electroplated exterior body trim and moldings are in nice condition including nice original badging and very nice original chrome front and rear bumpers !! Take a look at the awesome - factory original - "turbine" - aluminum wheels with correct lincoln center caps wrapped in good steel belted radial tires, boy does this combination look outstanding on this mark v and really retains that clean - "factory original" look !! The clean - solid trunk also sports a very nice original gray carpet liner, the factory original space saver spare tire and the original jack and lug wrench. This continental mark v is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. Runs great, even the cartier sweep hand clock works, same for push button antenna, moon roof, etc. Original jack still in trunk.
