It is a 2 door sedan, car had AC as original option, but does not now. New fuel pump, new oil pump, new thermostat. The odometer recently rolled over, so the mileage should be over 100,000. Original engine, but the cylinder head is from a 55 Nash. Borg-warner 2 speed automatic with overdrive that shifts perfectly. Fuel gauge does not work, but speedometer and odometer do Air Conditioning

Yes the car has a name!!! Had 1 repaint many years ago. Original flat head 6 was replaced by an over head valve 6 from a 1960 rambler american at the time of the repaint. Car runs and drives 100%. Just had the original radiator gone through and a small leak repaired. Installed a new gas tank sending unit. I purchased the car from friends in new jersey that owned it for nearly 30 years. They used it as a second car, weather permitting, and maintained it very well as can be seen by the pictures. The car shows very well and is in super nice driver quality. The paint is very nice but does have some minor scratches that i have include pictures of. The unibody frame is in excellent condition as well as the tires as shown in the pictures. The front bumper has some minor surface rust. The rear bumper is excellent. The only rust on the whole car is a very small spot on either side below the tail light panel where it meets the continental kit pans. There is also one tiny hole in the center of the trunk the size of a pencil. Just being 100% honest with this description. There is a small hole in the headliner above the passenger side visor. Please refer to pictures for description. Any questions pleas ask. I've owned the car for over 18 months. Selling so i can get one of my daily drivers back inside. Will be glad to assist if need be. I bought this 59 rambler to put on a newer model frame with a v8 motor and power brakes and steering but it don't seem like i am ever going to get time to do it so i have decided to sell it so someone else can enjoy it instead of just letting it set and rot. It has a good clear tn title. The 6cyl motor and overdrive trans are out of the car but do come with it. Motor and trans were working great when took out of the car. It has a lot of parts inside the car such as chrome, radiator, hub caps and lots more right down to the factory bumper jack. The back glass is off track so the glass is down in the tailgate but it is there. This would make an awesome rat rod. Local pickup or i might be able to deliver for a fee depending on mileage !!!

Rare 1959 rambler super american with the original 194 ci flathead six... This fabulous example has been well maintained and extremely well preserved throughout the years. This charming little car comes with rare factory option aluminum cylinder head and dual carbs, plus rare flash-o-matic automatic transmission. This fully documented 50,000 mile car was purchased new in cedar rapids, iowa in 1959 (the original dealer plaque is still on the trunk)... 3 months later the owner moved to southwest texas where the car remained most of its life (the original 1959 texas registration is still on the windshield). The car features a laser straight black exterior with an excellent red and black cloth and vinyl interior. Additional professionally installed improvements include: custom installed under dash vintage air conditioning with center and both side adjustable vents, dynamat heat and sound insulation on firewall, all floors and trunk, new first quality black carpeting thru-out including trunk, matching front and back seat belts, all new shocks, dual electric radiator fans, electric fuel pump, and an engine oil cooler. I have all the title documents to back it up. The previous owner completed the restoration and drivetrain swap. This one of a kind rambler sports a steelcrank 340 that is pushing 325hp. It is paired to a 1967 833 4 spd. The rearend is a sure-grip with 323 gears. The entire build has about 200 brake-in miles on the car. Everything is nice and tight. This wagon really scoots and is so much fun to drive! Large front disc brakes were installed and restored drums in the rear. The car has a manual rack n pinion steering system and all new gas kyb shocks and spring were installed. The wheels and bfgoodwrench tires are new just like the rest of the car. The body and paint are perfect. No scratches or swirls of any kind. This car is ready to win shows and is always welcome at every mopar event. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on this car. No panels were cut and nothing has been replaced as far as i can see. Everything closes nice and tight and all gaps are correct.
