This extremely rare 1966 ambassador 990 cross country was ordered on january 10, 1966 through amc's diplomatic and select customer program by auden berkidal. The original order sheet and window sticker are provided with additional documentation. The car is complete with it's books and service receipts. This is a very well documented and completely original car. The chrome and brightwork are in amazing condition. The cars paint is original with the exception of its rear tailgate. The interior of the car is completely original as well. The car is a time warp ! Included with the car are numerous spares, log book and numerous receipts from over the years. It is a documented two owner car in simply remarkable and original condition. Wagons are appreciating quickly. I may not have the only one left but, i'd wager that i most likely have the only one this original and this well documented !

It has a completely rebuilt 232 original type 6 cylinder engine with automatic trans and power steering. It has mostly original paint that is in relatively good condition. The interior is original and in very good condition except for the bottom of the drivers seat. I have just purchased the correct material to have the bottom of the front seat repaired. It is a factory ac car but some parts are missing under the hood. It has a nice set of cragar alloy mag wheels and almost new uniroyal tiger paw gts tires on it. It runs and drives very well. The odometer is showing 39. 218 but i have no way of knowing how many times it has turned over. I might consider an interes... Air Conditioning
