Chassis mods include a custom polished aluminum 4" over aluminum swing-arm with 530 chain conversion and a 3.5" tubeless back wheel from a 1986 GS1150 with new bearings to replace the skinny 2.5" stock wheel. It runs great and I have most of the stock parts except for the exhaust. I swapped the engine for a low mile 1986 GS1150 motor and had the crank balanced and blueprinted. Also had the trans back-cut and it shifts perfect. It has 36mm Mikuni flat-slides, K&N air filters, Vance & Hinds header & clutch basket, new clutch plates and springs, dyna coils and Taylor spark plug wires

There's an extra aftermarket seat,stock handlebars,and mirrors also. The bike came with a NOS Vance & Hines Racing4/1 Chrome Exhaust that was still in its original box. New exhaust gaskets. The stock black exhaust also go with. It goes with the bike along with its frame mount. The tank and side covers are still in original paint

These bikes were and are still used for 1/8 or 1/4 miles drags. Forks have the anti-dive that was a big techno feature from the day. A lot of these bikes were trashed and crashed because of their use. Here is a VERY original bike with a couple of nice upgrades. Here is a 1982 Suzuki GS1100E at NO RESERVE. Here's an '83 Suzuki GS1100e I bought some months ago as a non running project with some electrical problem that adding a new Yusa Battery (with the probe) did not cure. I'm not too sharp on electrical and haven't been able to devote the time to figure it out. The headlight hi and low works, the turn signals light but don't blink and the tail light works
