For 1968 a new frame held the engine/gearbox/swingarm unit in a rubber-mounted cradle, a remarkably efficient 'Isolastic' anti-vibration system that effectively, indeed, isolated the motor's oscill. Also the Head Light Bucket , Head Light Ring Bracket , Chain Guard and Fenders have been Chromed , Originaly the Fenders were Stainless and the Chain Guard and Head Light Bucket & Ring were black paint ) There is also no Air box, but has Volacity Stacks, It also has new after market Mirriors

its my opinion that the xxxx/xxxx/72 are the best NORTON'S to date ,with that vintage front drum brake assy and a good solid reinforced frame (prior years had issues )and the only bikes that are worth repairing / restoring . This condition (totally restored every nut and bolt ) is highly sought after great for the beginner and experienced collectors

Shifts and Runs new, Brakes are checked and like new, Charging system and amp meter Work Perfectly, Carbs are Clean and Adjusted just right, Tires and tubes like new, Seat in Original is really nice, Finders and Rims and Spokes very nice (one small spot on the rear rim) Headlight with Halo Ring has been updated to Halogen Sealed Beam Right side Muffler has some blistering But Still Clean and Not Bad. All Mechanics are in top condition
