Engine kicks over with good compression, clutch operates as it should, I took the plug out and tried to get spark but I do not see any, magneto points might need to be cleaned, the transmission shift lever moves fine but I can't seem to get it into gear. I personally hand selected the frame and engine from the inventory at Frank Deihl's Classic Cycle Works when I started the project in March of 2013. The A10 frame is powder-coated and the engine is stamped CA10 SR 991 - which according to Roy Bacon's BSA Twins & Triples, left the Birmingham factory in a 1959 BSA Spitfire Scrambler. Engine is strong, I see no evidence it has ever been out of frame. Not correct color, tank should be two tone, cream and red. Previous owner installed New tube, tires, cables, repainted tank and side covers. New paint, generator, electrical, battery, rear tail light, headlight, 500cc top end from a b33. Definetly a cruiser. I've taken it down country roads... Its not a power house, but has plenty of horse power and rides really nice through the gears. Easy cruising at 60 mph 70 mph.
