About the BSA A10 Rocket Gold Star The BSA Rocket Gold Star was a BSA motorcycle included in the final range of A10 twins, using a tuned A10 Super Rocket engine in the double-downtube Gold Star frame. Options such as Siamesed exhaust pipes and a close-ratio RRT2 gearbox could increase this to 50 bhp (37 kW) and add 30% to th. The later 9:1 compression Super Rocket engine was used with a Spitfire camshaft and an Amal Monobloc carburettor gave 46 bhp (34 kW) as standard

Seller's Comments and Description: 1960 BSA DBD34 Goldstar Clubman, none-matching numbers but still very much a Goldie, cantankerous, exasperating, but a magnificent thumper. The odometer indicates 21,546-miles but as the odometer part of the speedometer has not worked for a few years it’s hard to say what it really is. The machine comes with chronometric clocks, rearset's, clipon’s and is delightfully uncomfortable to ride but it is the price one has to pay to ride like a 1960’s rocker. I have the original footrests, rear brake pedal, and straight handlebar, which go with the machine. Details Job type full-time Contact Seller.

Cosmetically the bike is very nice with excellent frame paint, new quality fenders and chain guard, new tires, handlebars, levers, original tank with NO dents, many new fasteners, perfect pipe and megaphone, etc , please check photos carefully. This is one of the last legendary BSA Goldstar 500cc singles, and this one in particular a rare Competition Allsports model with the high performance motor, GP carburetor, alloy tank and central oil tank. Some parts are missing, specifically the magneto points assembly, mag drive gear, carb banjo and there may be other odds and ends 1234 Miles✔ Chain Transmission✔ Frame paint

I purchased this bike from the second owner, it appears he did a light restoration and some repairs in '89-'90. Included with the bike is a bsa 1972 parts catalog which includes all parts fiches for this bike, and the original owners handbook, pretty rare to see these included with a british bike and really nice to have. Also included are various receipts from the previous owner, and the original registration from the 1st owner. This bike is currently registered in my name and has a transferable registration which i will sign over to the new owner. I am very familiar with vintage motorcycles and mechanics but not particularly with british bikes. I am by no means an expert on bsa's but i am describing this bike to the best of my knowledge, please, fell free to reach out to me through ebay or call me at 917-340-5367 with any questions about this vehicle and i will answer truthfully to the best of my ability. I have included 50 photos of the bike, please scroll down through the listing to view. This bike is being sold auction style to the highest bidder, there is no reserve on this bike. 3200 Miles✔ Belt Transmission

Seller's comments and description: nice bike, runs & rides fine. I just rode it a few days ago. No problems that i know of, no major oil leaks (occasional drip, but its old & british)regulator recently upgraded to a solid state unit, inside the original housing. I dont know if its original paint, but its old paint for sure. Chrome isnt perfect, but it looks pretty good, especially for being 65 years old. Speedo & tach both work, pillion pad is original bates leather. I ve had the bike for over a year, but just dont ride it much, so thought someone else would enjoy it. Seller's comments and description: as the follow-on to bsa's legendary gold star thumper, the 441 victor had big shoes to fill. Eric cheney never worked for any motorcycle manufacturer, preferring to make motorcycles in his own eccentric way. His greatest success came after the bsa competition department had closed. The venture was uniquely british. The bikes were designed and built on a shoestring budget in little more than a domestic garage. But the results were spectacular. The bike offered here is cheney’s 45th built. Of 1967 vintage, this mark 2 machine has been maintained, raced and modified by someone who obviously knew what they were doing. A stronger triumph leftside engine cover was fitted to the 1967 441 victor motor, and for reliability and tune a new amal carb was installed. Modifications to suspension are ceriani forks up front and curnutt rear shocks. Wheels have a bsa lightweight rear hub and twin leading shoe brake fitted to the front. Both have fresh tires, and the original front wheel accompanies the bike. The bike is offered in great condition, having just been gone through by a british bike specialist. The usual re-commissioning of brakes, suspension, carburetion and spark was all it took. The engine has great compression, starts and runs easily. The bike is fast and handles well. This rare opportunity for a great classic off-road bike is offered with a clean, clear title. Details job type full-time contact seller. Off-Road✔ Engine cover
