Hello to all ebayers! I have been with ebay for several years and i want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, i’m liquidating my collection since i’m selling my warehouse. I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so i sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to california to add to my collection. This 1948 studebaker is located in a copart facility in pekin il. I tried to sell it on copart, but this vehicle is a classic clean vehicle, and this auction yard is not the best place to sell it, i put it on ebay. This classic has a clear illinois title. 1948 studebaker champion 2 door the studebaker champion is an automobile which was produced by the studebaker corporation of south bend, indiana from the beginning of the 1939 model year until 1958. Mechanicalthis 1948 studebaker champion has 35,423 original miles. The title shows exempt because of the age. It has a straight 6 engine with an overdrive manual transmission. The engine sounds really good, with no smoke; the transmission and the clutch feel good. The car has a working hill break. Turn signals work as well as all the lights. Exterior the exterior is in great condition. This is a very solid car, always garage-kept and well-maintained. The paint and all the chrome are in great condition. Tires are in good condition. This studebaker isn’t a show car, but it is very presentable. Interiorthe interior is in great condition, it’s an all complete car; all the windows are in great condition. Overall, it’s a very clean car. The radio works as well. The only thing that doesn’t work is the clock which can be easily fixed or replaced. Radio has been added after photo was taken also has fm converter. Side mirrors have also been added. I have tried my best to describe this vehicle as accurately as i can. People have different opinions and expectations of older vehicles. Remember, this car is from the 1980’s and can have some imperfections that i'm not aware of. This vehicle is advertised on other websites, so i have the right to end the auction early if it gets sold. I'm not a dealer, but just a very passionate collector of classic cars and trucks. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due when the auction ends. Balance is to be paid via bank wire or a certified bank cashier's check. Check will need to clear before the vehicle is released and the title is sent. All non-paying bidders will be reported to ebay. Disclaimerpeople have different opinions and expectations of older vehicles. Remember, this vehicle is from the 1940’s, and even though i’ve tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which i’m not aware of. I’m saying this because i’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered!

1948 studebaker champion - indianapolis, insignificant carsindianapolis, in 46204ph: 3176369900web: n/aoptions:description:the champion was an automobile of the studebaker corporation of south bend in. Production for the model began at the beginning of the 1939 model year and continued until 1958, when the model was phased out in preparation for the 1959 lark. Prior to that time, studebaker had been placed under receivership, and the company was trying to return to a profitable position. Success of the champion in 1939 was imperative to studebaker’s survival following weak sales during the 1938 model year. Unlike most other cars, the champion was designed from a "clean sheet"; that is, having no restrictions caused by necessarily utilizing older parts or requiring the subsequent use of its components in heavier vehicles. Careful market research guided the selection of features, but a key principle adhered to was the engineering watchword "weight is the enemy." for its size, it was one of the lightest cars of its era; its main competitor in this regard being the willys americar, which did not have so thorough going a design process. And the engineering was good; its compact straight 6 engine was maintained to the end of the 1964 model year. The champion was one of studebaker's best-selling models by virtue of its low price (us$660 for the two-door business coupe in 1939), durable engine and styling. Styling for the car was handled by industrial designer raymond loewy who was under contract with studebaker for the design of their automobiles. Champions won mobilgas economy runs by posting the highest gas mileage tests. During world war ii, champions were coveted for their high mileage in a time when gas was rationed in the us. In 1946, studebaker built a limited number of cars based on their 1942 body shell in preparation of its new body and design roll out in 1947. All studebakers built in 1946 were designated skyway champion models. This very very nice example is a low mileage ca car, the paint, chrome, top and interior are all very nice and need nothing, the engine compartment is clean and tidy with no leaks and the car runs and drives extremely well. In a small collection for the last dozen years, the car has been well cared for, and the engine has just been rebuilt with hardened valves and seats by perfroamnce engineeering, a well respected race shop. The suspension was completely rebuilt with new springs all around. The exhaust was rebuilt to factory specs by a studebaker expert and a new top and interior were installed. The brakes were completely overhauled. This fun little car will provide years of driving and showing enjoyment to the lucky new owner.

Seller's comments and description: offered in this listing is a rare 1948 studebaker m15a pickup. The factory build sheet (included in the sale) with, but not limited to, the factory original paint color and interior color. The restoration also included a complete engine rebuild. It is simply the finest and most documented example existing. The m15a pickup has the same body (cab, fenders, hood etc.) as the m5, but has a longer bed, much stouter suspension and brakes, and the desirable hefty "budd" wheels. Also included are, the factory build sheet, factory tool kit and jack, factory service apron, factory parts and service manuals, factory brochures, factory data documents, 1948 minnesota road map, and much more! All of these documents and photos are included in an album that is included with the sale. Only a few hundred break-in miles on the restoration.
