The car is in excellent condition. Superformance s1tube frame, 1,350 lbs with engine and transmission. High quality fiberglass and aluminum body. Front suspension is as adjustable as a pure open-wheel race car. Rear suspension is a solid rear axel with mumford link system to keep weight low. Good sized lockable trunk (approx. 5 cubic feet) with a solid cover. Car comes with removable doors, sliding windows and convertible top. Lockable glove box, fresh air ventilation with two speed fan assist, heat and a windshield with electronic defrost. The interior has a carbon fiber dash with oil pressure, tach, oil temp., water temp, speedo and clock. 10" steering wheel (removable and lockable). Seats are a great fit with 4 point willans harnesses. Two tone paint (black and silver) with chrome headlights, chrome gas cap and side exhaust. Ford z-tech 2 liter 16 valve duel overhead cam engine. Yes we understand that westfield did not start producing cars until 1982 and that there was that lawsuit between caterham and westfield. All we can go by is what the florida title states. As a licensed dealer we cannot advertise the car as anything other than the year posted on the title. I will also disclose with respect to the seller that he may have his years mixed up when he told me the dates that he purchased the car from the original owner. It's entirely possible that he has his years mixed up because of the illness he is battling.
