Seller's comments and description: 1967 datsun roadster 1600. It runs, shifts, drives, has newer tires on original wheels. The interior is in nice condition. Car is straight with its share of dings, scratches and chips and no rust that i could locate. The cassette radio works but i don't have a cassette to test if the tape deck portion does. The car has nice fog lights and is complete, not missing anything. The car has not been driven much in a number of years; so while it starts up with its one year old battery; it needs a good tune up, carb adjustment and full tank of premium gas run through it to get her running well. Comes with original datsun ignition key and key for antenna.

I am selling my fairlady roadster because i have purchased a classic ford falcon. My wife said i do not need to have two fun cars. I hate to part with my fairlady; i have owned it for over 5 years and put a lot of love into it. However, it is time to let it go to a good home. This car was a barn find in georgia in 2012. I am the third owner. The first owner had it for two years and sold it to a colonel in the army. It was in his family until i purchased it. It had sat in a barn since 1994. The car was not running, no brakes, and no clutch when i got it. One nice thing, nobody had done anything to it as far as all the wiring was the correct colors. A couple of changes i made that are not stock to the 1600. I installed a new am/fm radio. I fabricated a new plate because the new stereo was wider than the original radio location. I still have the original plate and working am radio. I replaced the dash mirror and install a new rearview mirror on the windshield center support. I still have the dash mounted mirror. There is currently 55171 miles on the car, 53936 on the original odometer and 1235 on the new odometer. All exterior molding is there. The two front fender chrome “datsun 1600” and the rear “fairlady” emblems are new. Front and rear bumpers are in good shape but need to be straightened and re-chromed. Other chrome pieces such as around headlights and taillights have spots of surface rust. The body was painted green when i got the car. The original color is sora blue datsun paint code 563. Both front fenders have rust-though areas at the rear corners. There are various chips in the paint throughout. The car definitely needs body work and paintthe chrome wheels are on the car currently but i have the original rims and hubcaps. The heater and windshield wipers do not work. The soft top is original and old. There is large tears on both sides, it needs replaced. I have the removable hard top. Interior· all gauges· carpet· dash cover· center post mirror.· fairlady shift knob· floor pans· glove box interior· vent window handles· horns and horn button rebuild· stereo and speakers· turn signal switch· new seats and door upholstery. 1967 datsun fairlady roadster. 1600 4speed transmission. The car is in excellent condition. It has been restored ascetically as well as maintained mechanically. The su carburetors have been rebuilt by z therapy. The suspension has new front and rear control arms, with new shocks aswell. The brake system was rebuilt. Wheels are 14x6 panasports with new tires. 1967 low windshield datsun 1600 roadster. Very decent old car with fresh engine and recent clutch. The car has good paint but it is an older paint job and has some flaws and some minor rust bubbling, please see the pictures. I have tried to show all the issues with the car top to bottom. There is some rust in front of both rear wheels in the rocker, this is the worst area of the car and yet it does not keep the car from being a very good drivable car. The actual frame is very solid and there is no indication that it was ever rusty or that the car has experienced any major damage. While there is a soft top frame there is no soft top. There is a non factory aftermarket hard top on the car at the moment as well. The interior was largely re done again as an enthusiast restoration and it was done reasonably well but not show quality. Tires are quite good and have lots of miles left on them. The car starts easily and the transmission shifts smoothly. I am happy to help arrange shipping to any where in the world but that expense will be that of the new owner. The car is sold as is where is fob clinton wa and no warranty is implied or expressed.

There don't appear to be any speakers for the radio in the car, so I have never heard it play. I bought this car believing it was good to go by the previous owner, but discovered the need to rebuild the engine, therefore I know personally that the car will run without issues, as I have driven it about 100 miles or so since completion in May

And there is a small scratch on the driver side front fend. And the color is slightly different. The passenger door was replaced in 1974 because it got bent open too far when it caught the side of my carport post. It received new exterior paint, top, recovered seats and deck as well as new carpet in 1982
