It has to be 99% rust free if not a pure 100% since i just could not find any. There was a small surface rust area on the inside of the spare wheel well which was sanded down, primered and coated with strong rubberized under-coating to prevent future rust issues. Bluetooth

Runs well, handles well, driven daily on freeway and local roads, stays cool in heavy traffic, fun to drive. A good local cars and coffee car. Everything works, sunroof, gauges, lights, and the dashboard clock works too. Car is smog exempt in ca. Great car but selling my entire collection. Ireland engineering performance lowering springs stage 1. Bilstein shocks/ struts all around. Supersprint muffler – highest quality, italian, excellent low sound, not loud or shreaky. Original bbs wheels, have been polished and center repainted. Engine is an older rebuild, starts right up, has good power, does not leak oil. 32/36 weber – has an older rebuilt trans – shifts smooth up and down gears. Center rod and tie rod ends replaced two years ago. Repainted, good quality two layer paint, color sanded, polished. Kept in garage, includes car cover (that doesnt fit very well). Upper belt trim – polished aluminum trim around car was restored and re-dipped. Seals: new rubber door seals, windshield, rear window, and trunk seal. Original spare tire and jack. Carpet replaced with oem style gold/tan 15 piece. Original, unrestored seats - inlcludes bmw front seat covers, see pic, they are in trunk, never installed them. Original, unrestored headliner. Stereo: alpine stereo with hands-free/ bluetooth, cd, plays iphone/mp3 tracks. Needs a new microphone for hands free- accidentally cut the mic wire and did not replace. And rear seats are original, have not been reupholstered. Have tears and while they have held up well, and look ok, are not new. Both seats’ levers work and seats fold ok so passengers can get in back, however the passenger seat does not recline. I am including the part needed so that when seats redone, it can be replaced so the pass. Front seats need to be redone in future. Headliner is original, looks ok but not new, has a couple small tears. Driver door/side mirror is hazy, should be replaced eventually. Body had solid original panels when painted, rust was in spare tire well, was sanded, treated, and filled. Paint looks good but is driver quality, has imperfections and a few scratches and nicks. Driver door slightly bows out at the bottom right corner, not very noticeable. Shop said it can be bent back but have not had it done. Sunroof/Moonroof✔ Bluetooth

I have owned the car for roughly two years, and when i purchased it i had it shipped here from reno, nv. The time i had the car it was garage kept and did not see snow. The car is in excellent shape and has very little rust considering it was in a dry climate most of its life. I recently took it to nikolas motorsports where the entire engine was rebuilt, which cost roughly $7500. I have the receipts. The engine also has a weber 38/38. (engine has only 38 miles on it, the odometer reads 55,xxx). I was also told that the car has a tii block and a hotter cam, but cannot verify without cracking the head open. Parts (all engine work has a two year warranty by nikolas motorsports) in addition to engine rebuild, i also had them install a new driveshaft and install new suspension bushings throughout the car. I will throw in all of the original springs and tires. The bad: i tried to take pictures of all the bad with this car, although none of these issues are severe or major. - tears in both seats. - speedometer glass fell out, but i do have it, just never got around to putting it back in. - rear of headliner is tacked in (in pictures). - hood has a weird cracking rust spot, which was por15'd by previous owner. Rust and cracking has stopped, just an eye sore. - misc. Chips and dings on body (i drove it daily, as did the previous owner in reno... I have tried to list everything about the car as thoroughly as possible along with many pictures, but would be glad to take any additional pictures upon request. Bluetooth

Bmw fans, this 1975 2002 is a special treat. Recently and comprehensively restored, it has been distilled down to the very essence of the very first modern sports sedan. The searing bright orange paint was actually one of the 2002's more popular colors in the 1970s, which shouldn't be a surprise. One, it was the '70s and two, guys who bought these cars weren't interested in subtlety. They understood that they were buying not only a high-quality car, but one of the most capable small sedans ever built and they had no desire to hide their pride. Following the restoration, the paint is in great shape, vivid and bold, and every bit as orange as it was on the showroom floor. Modern paints give it a shine befitting its upscale bmw badge, but there's minimal flash and other add-ons to spoil the design. No spoilers or wings, no vents, and just a simple band of shiny metal around the perimeter to add interest. Even the big federalized bumpers look right on this car, making it look purposeful but not heavy or clumsy. The carpets, door panels, and dash pad are also new, and a custom center console was created to hold a trio of auxiliary gauges plus the am/fm/cd stereo head unit. Custom speakers on the sides of the center console work well to add sound without altering any of the factory panels. All the glass is new and the trunk is very neatly finished with matching carpets and a beefy tubular rear shock tower brace that also anchors the gel cell battery. Msd supplied the ignition system to keep it operating at its peak and it's neatly detailed in high-tech silver to accentuate its german origins. A 2002tii high-ratio steering box gives it sharp reflexes, and combined with big sway bars on both ends, h&r sport springs, and bilstein shocks all around, this car lives up to its reputation as a cornering demon. Front disc brakes provide reliable stopping power, especially in such a lightweight package, and gorgeous bbs alloys wear 195/50/15 bridgestone performance radials. This is one of the most enjoyable 2002s we've ever featured. AM/FM
