Seller's comments and description: zero rust. Brand new original granada red paint. All the seals has been changed after the paint job including the doors, front and rear windshields, and the trunk seal. Everything works like it should. Original brand new front and rear bumpers. Original euro turn signals. Interior:brand new custom set interior leather work has been done to this car by a professional shop. Complete headliner is brand new black original bmw material. The 3 piece dash has been covered with black leather with white snitches. Complete carpet is brand new black . All the door panel has been recovered with black leather. All the seats materials are brand new and covered with a custom work. Engine:fully rebuilt blueprinted modified with 10. 1 compression pistons. (costed around 13k)the head is a e12 ported and polished with new schrick 292 cam. Brand new custom heavy duty rod bearing, main bearings. Brand new oil pump from bmw dealer. Aluminum radiator with a push fan kit. Brand new ireland engineer exhaust system from header to the muffler. Mechanical advanced distributor with electrical ignition. Complete weber 45 carburators with proper jetting. Brand new water pump, thermostat and hoses were also installed at that time. Bmw 2002 m10 serpentine pully converssion kit billet cnc machined. Custom brand new fuel pump installed. Engine runs like a champion and has no problems what so ever. Drivetrain:upgraded getrag 245 5 speed transmission brand new rebuilt. Brand new aluminum lightweight flywheel with a brand new clutch. Professionally shortened driveshaft to fit the 5 speed transmission. Feels really good when driving it on the highway. Suspension:brand new complete bilstein short race coilovers suspension. All the suspension parts have been powder coated at the time of the installation. 13-inch original bbs mahle wheels like brand new with brand new tires. Barking system is brand new with vented rotors and big calipers installed. Complete lower control arms are brand new heavy duty with heavy duty bushings. Brand new rebuilt differential with heavy duty axles. All the bearings for the wheel bearings has been changed with original bmw parts.

Netoptions:description:this 1969 bmw 1600-2 is in excellent condition with new florida (code 066) paint. Manufactured on april 24th, 1969 and delivered on may 5th, 1969 to hoffman motors corp. It was first sold in california and moved to colorado in the late 80's. It was purchased by a bmw enthusiast in 2009 that took care of the mechanical issues after sitting for several years in storage. I purchased it in 2012 and spent the last few years bringing it back to its original condition. It underwent extensive rust repairs and a glass out respray including the trunk and door jams. The engine bay was left the original paint since it was in excellent shape and i wanted to retain that originality. It is a matching numbers car and currently registered in california. Steel wheels new tires new battery original manual original tool kit roll and tools restored neue klasse steering wheel wrapped in leather only 170 miles since completed many other new parts with receipts! (detailed list at the bottom of the page) florida (green) is a rare color and very hard to find one for sale in this amazing condition. This is a true classic that has been refreshed/restored with careful attention to keeping it as original as possible. The engine bay is all original and unmolested! No wiring has been cut or spliced into. It even has much of the original wrapping on the wires. No electrical issues and no surprises. This is a rare opportunity to find a unmolested, clean and well cared for 1969 florida 1600-2. A few things to note - the ca black plates shown in the photo's are for show and not the original plates or registered. There is one small crack in the lower dashboard but a un-cracked replacement dashboard will be included in the sale. Mileage is unknown since the cluster was restored but i suspect it has low miles given the cleanliness of the engine bay. Lastly, the shifter bushings were replaced and now second gear feels tight. I do not believe it is the syncros but rather the shifter needing adjustments. Wordpress.
