Seller's comments and description: 1959 austin healey 100/6, matching numbers car, an extremely original, unmolested, unrestored. The healey has been well maintained & makes for a ‘first class’ driver quality car that could be displayed for show & driven as is on any road trip. Originally a black car with red interior according to the heritage certificate, the owner did a color change & installed a complete new interior kit sometime in the early 2000’s. A new stayfast convertible top & side curtains were added in 2010. Even though the paint is approx. 15 plus years old it still presents its self very well & could be left for many years to come. There are some areas where the paint is showing its age & i have attempted to take pics of these areas. For the most part the paint shows extremely well (looks like an expensive paint job when originally done). I have had the paint professionally touched–up & polished to bring back that ‘like new appearance’. The engine & transmission were apparently rebuilt during the original owner’s tenure ship but i have no paperwork to prove this. The engine starts effortlessly, runs smooth, pulls strong, has great oil pressure when hot & does not burn any oil. The transmission can be up/down shifted through all of the gears with ease & the overdrive works. The clutch works properly & does not slip. There are no over heating problems & runs consistently at around 170 deg. The brakes & clutch hydraulic systems have recently been rebuilt, the car brakes evenly & stops as it should with the 4 drum brakes. All lighting systems, including headlamps, turn signals, brake lights etc. The wiring harness in the car is original to the car & no one has touched or modified the wiring to the best of my knowledge. The healey is equipped with; electric o/d, heater, momolita wood steering wheel, adjustable steering column & chrome wire wheels. The chassis is solid & straight, never in an accident... & it still shows the original undercoating that was applied in the 60’s when the car was new, still in excellent condition with only a few spots peeling & cracked from age. The underside of the car was ‘waxolyed’ in 2010 to preserve & seal the undercoating/chassis. This healey is very presentable & a pretty car that draws attention wherever it goes. Given the originality & overall solid condition of this car it makes for a rare & indeed collectable healey 100/6. It should be driven & enjoyed as it is & preserved to maintain its original patina.

Ideal example to take to the next level. Offered here is an original lhd, north american spec two-seater, completed on october 6, 1958. It wears appropriate british racing green paint over black upholstery and factory equipped with wire wheels, overdrive, mph speedometer and laminated windscreen. Previously enjoyed as a casual driver, this healey now displays an older restoration, ideal for light restoration. Complete with plexi side curtains, top shell (missing frame) and full-cab tonneau cover. The body shows signs of corrosion, visible from the underside edges but with a good frame, while the engine bay reveals the original numbers-matching and now triple-carbureted motor. Overall we believe this is a great example to take to the next level. It is offered with a heritage certificate confirming matching numbers and specifications.

1959 austin healey bugeye sprite. I have no history on the car, but it appears to have been used for racing at some point in it's life. The interior has no trim, and the windshield and top have been removed. If anyone has any information on the car i would be happy to hear about it. The car is very rusty, particularly the hood and the floors under the seats. However, the doors open and close well. The seat frames are also pretty rusty. Has some neat features: oil cooler mounted in front of the radiator with an auxiliary cooling fan, hood hold-down belt, flip forward hood, roll bar. The front tires appear to be old racing tires, the rears are modern tires. The mileage is unknown and i have not tried to start the car nor have i tested any of the systems. Therefore, please assume that everything on the car will need rebuilding or repair. The car does roll, but has no brakes. Vin plate is in place and i have a clear title. There are no other parts or spares included. I would love to keep this car, but then again, i would love to keep every old car. The fact is i just don't have the time to deal with this car right now. Although there is a "buy-it-now" price, there is also a "make an offer" option. I'm a reasonable person and i don't offend easily. I will help in facilitating pick-up/shipping of the car. If the deposit is not paid within the allotted time, the sale will be cancelled.

These 100-6’s were only built from 1956 through 1959, they were the replacement for the 100 and then followed by the 3000. Together, they were known as the big healeys. First of all, the car comes out of long term ownership with the current owner purchasing it in 1967. The car was used as a daily driver for several years while working at the university of michigan. After several years the owner decided to have the car restored to its glory and in 1981 made the voyage to lakeland, fl and tsikuris classics where it underwent a frame off restoration. Paul tsikuris was a leader in healeys at the time, so the car was done very well. Included with the sale are not only every receipt for the last fifty years, but also receipts for the restoration. This also includes hand written correspondents between the seller and paul tsikuris along with pictures. This tremendous auto is finished in healey blue over blue interior. It has a nice fitting soft-top, tonneau and side curtains. This is one of the easiest starting healeys i have personally had the pleasure of offering. The car runs and drives excellent as well with good brakes and tires. However, keep in mind that although the paint has held up tremendously well, it is nearly a 40 year old restoration with some shrinking in the paint. This car comes ready to be enjoyed with all documentation included.
