This big healey is a great example of one of the 5,450 mkii bj7 models produced. Fitted with the desirable factory overdrive, it is a very solid, dry texas car recently out of the collection of its knowledgable long-term owner who not only loved this car but also kept copious maintenance records documenting his fastidious care over the years. Its body is incredible, with original factory paint in the engine compartment, its chassis and undercarriage, and the car benefits from a fresh, proper rebuild of its original engine, transmission, factory overdrive unit, and the complete fuel, braking and clutch systems by the appropriate specialists. In total there are over $40,000 of receipts for recent work, along with a comprehensive file from its previous owner. It is a car that has been made to drive not be rolled in and out of trailers. These later bj7 models have tolerable weather protection with roll up windows and snug fitting tops, confidence inspiring disc brakes and very capable handling along with an exhaust note to die for.
