For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. Up for auction is a 1997 gmc c 8500 hook lift truck. Included is 2 - 10 yard boxes, 2- 15 yard boxes & 1- flatbed. This gmc only has 40,000 miles!! The cat motor doesn't smoke and fires right up. It has been a great truck for us, we just don't use it enough. We purchased this truck in 2004 from a fire department and installed the hook lift system. This is an all-american hooklift which was bought out by palfinger about 6 years ago. The 10-yard boxes & flat bed are newer and in good condition. The 15 yard boxes are older / original and in fair condition, in time may need some welding / work but are still functional. This is a dual-action hook lift system, it has the option of dumping and an option of dropping a box on the ground. The hooklift system has the 36 inch hook. These 2 features makes this gmc a great truck! Legal load is about 7. 5 tons. This truck has spent more time over the years sitting inside the shop instead of out work so now it is on ebay. Sad to see it go but its time!!! Cash in hand, bank check & wire transfer all excepted. Truck will not be released until funds clear. This truck is also being sold locally so we reserve the right to end this auction at anytime.
