It has new transfer case, fly wheel and clutch. The transmission was checked out along with both differentials, u joints and are all in great shape. The crew cab gives a lot of room. It has mostly been used as a weekend traveler, towing a 5th wheel travel trailer on long trips. The body is straight with only a couple of minor dings and various chips in the paint, mostly around the top of the bed. There are some scratches around the drivers door key. The doors shut tight and solid, no sagging or rattling. The interior is in Good condition, has some wear on the drivers seat and one crack on the passengers side of the dash. No rips or tears, the material is flexible and not dry or brittle. XLT Lariat edition, lots of options. Heater and A/C work but the air needs a recharge to blow ice cold like it should. It's still on R12 and needs to be retrofitted to R32 to recharge. The front and outer rear tires were replaced at different times so the outer tires have lots of thread left while the two inner tires have less thread left. Starts right up and runs great, Shifts Excellent, very smooth and strong, well maintained. It had disabled license plates that were removed and do not come with the truck. Currently on non-op status with no back fees at DMV. This truck NEVER failed smog, always passed with no issues. Does not Leak or burn any fluids. This Truck is original 49k miles. I purchased it from the Original Owner last month. I have driven and tested it and it's an excellent Truck! He sold it to me because he is getting older, can no longer drive and is moving to an assisted living home. If sold in California, it will come with a current California smog certificate. Clean California title. I will ship anywhere, message for a quote.

I have done many things over that time new radiator, heater core and hoses,rebuilt transmission, newer tires, rebuilt front hubs and brakes front and rear. Just too many things to list all. This is a great old truck for it's age. I recently drove truck to florida and back to colorado in 2016 as some of these pictures reflect. The topper in pictures not included in sale. As is sale so please ask questions before bidding. Good luck with bidding i have a low reserve for what i believe truck is worth.

Truck is being auctioned by a volunteer fire department that purchased the vehicle new in 1989 to haul their refurbished 1927 Seagrave firetruck. No trailer to haul the refurbished truck was ever purchased and after two years of not utilizing the pickup the department decided to convert it to brush truck. The pickup was utilized as a second brush truck until 2008 when it replaced by a newer brush unit. The department kept the truck and used it for the hydrant maintenance program and added a Western snow plow to use for snow removal during inclement weather. Because there were several areas of severe paint wear around the rear cab (from rubber forestry hose rubbing against it) the department chose to repaint the vehicle in Chevrolet Victory Red before adding needed reflective vinyl stripes. A replacement truck was placed in service in January 2017 and the truck was decommissioned (emergency lighting removed and reflective vinyl removed). Some "ghosting" remains from vinyl (we have tried to show this in the pic that shows the left-front quarter panel up close). There are holes in the roof where an emergency light bar and antenna were once mounted; these have been properly filled with grommets and silicone. This truck has spent 95% of it's life garaged inside the fire station and has zero rust. The body is straight; truck has never been involved in a motor vehicle crash. The tailgate has been replaced with aftermarket tailgate after someone used the wrong ball size and an enclosed trailer lifted off the hitch and struck the original tailgate several years ago. Front interior bed has crease from truck box sliding towards cab. This truck has been maintained by a municipal shop who took care of all preventative maintenance and repairs. Tires have less than 3,000 miles on them and show no sign of wear. Truck is equipped with electronic brake, AM/FM radio, manual door locks, dual fuel tanks, sliding rear glass, and roll-in bed liner. Passenger side door armrest/handle broke last year and no replacement could be found; wooden replacement was engineered and installed. Snow plow and controls are included in purchase. 1989 f350 dually 7. 3 diesel banks turbo 58,800 miles engine and turbo installed in may 2010, all hoses, belts replaced at ford, drop in and installed with new gauges on piller, body has 180,000, been repainted no rust, no rust 6 yrs, hit pheasant with hood, have a replacement, goes with. Both headlights have been replaced 2 yrs ,not yellowed, dual steering shocks skyjacker? 4 yrs, steering pump and sector 2 yrs, has gear vender with ujoints and drive shafts 5 yrs, rims powder coated mat black 1 yr, tires 6,000 miles , 10. 25 rear end new posi, ring n pinion and bearings 2 weeks, brakes f & b back complete kits, one park brake cable 2 yrs, all shocks 2 yrs, one tie rod 2 yrs shifter boot 1 yr, nos tac 2 yrs,up graded speakers 4 years, air condition works great new carpet,,headliner and seat covers, door panels 6 years,have new driver door hinges painted but not installed, sound deadened and heat shield on floor and roof, dual tanks , dash mat , tire chains go with. I have driven this to the east coast and back , i would drive to main, florida, california, washington and home and not bat an eye. I hope i don't regret up grading to a newer 4x4 truck or i might have to find this one and by it back. Oil changed 25 to 3000 miles no more then that extra filter .
