Step 6each vehicle is driven 150 to 200 miles by big sam! If it does not pass big sam‘s test it will go back to mike until sam approves the vehicle for sale. Larry founded racey auto sales when he returned from the air force in 1961. Having bought and sold vehicles since that time, he has seen many dealers come and go. Giving a quality vehicle at a good price and excellent service is how racey's has withstood the past half a century. Larry is now retired from the united states post office and runs the office of racey auto sales. Scott raceyscott is larry's son and grew up around the automobile business. He now runs the body shop, oversee's the mechanics and inventory and the man now responsible for the business. Carl, aka "the fat man"carl is the sales manager with a long history in the people business. He is a great communicator of what the customer wants and expects. He's here to sell, not beat around the bush!!! Big sam messingerbig sam is a retired foundry worker who has been with racey auto sales for 17 years. He drives the rollback and tow's trucks. Jay was gone for 6 months and has recently returned to racey's. Zach trivittzach came to racey's with a background in concrete. When the building sector tanked zach came to us for employment. Zach was trained under jay and has become a lead body man. Zach has recently become a father and for some reason he appears a little tired in the mornings now. Mike weavermike is the lead mechanic and comes from a 20 year background as shop manager at the local goodyear store. He has been racey auto sales over 13 years and can answer any question when it comes to mechanics. Randall gardnerrandall is a former landscaper turned bodyman. He has a few months experience is doing body work. Rob nicklowrob is "grease monkee" he's been with us for 7 years. Rob is an expert in gas motors. He is responsible for refurbishing the truck (not boom or generator) including engines, transmissions, king pins, brakes rotors tie rod end ect. On his off days he builds cars to race at the local tracks ricky dennisricky has been working for us the past 5 years. Each vehicle is driven 150 to 200 miles by big sam! If it does not pass big sam‘s test it will go back to mike until sam approves the vehicle for sale.
