For sale 1968 triumph t100r daytona super sportbike is in very nice shape for its age and looks to be mostly original. I am not a triumph expert by any means, so please look at all the photos closely. I can also facetime or skype and walk around the bike. Bike used to be owned by brad lackey the 1982 ama 500gp motocross champion. I have some receipts with his name on them, but thats it. I purchased it from someone who used to race with brad. Previous owner told me he had rebuilt the top end with . 20 over pistons, and that the motor is fresh. Just took the bike on a 12 mile ride on the freeway, and it ran great. Leaks a little oil like a typical old triumph. Starts with one or two kicks. Has a newer lithium battery. Does not have a rpm needle on the tach, but the speedometer works fine. Tires are from the 1970's. Dunlop gold seal k70's on the rear and a continental on the front. Bike comes with a clean california title and current registration until sep/2018. This is a 48yr old motorcycle, with many original parts. I am more than happy to provide any additional photos or information on request. Text or call 727-735-2243. Baby brother to the 650 bonneville, the 500 daytona has the same great looks and legendary triumph handling. This bike has matching numbers and had been restored at some point in the past and then was neglected for some time. The frame and many black parts have a well done powder coat job. The paint on the tank and fenders is just so so. New parts include battery, carb gaskets, petcocks, fork seals, o-rings and gaiters. It has new taper roller steering head bearings. Light switch is new and all wiring has been replaced or repaired as needed. The rocker box gaskets and seals have been replaced and valves adjusted. The bike starts easily and runs great and could be a daily rider or a candidate for a full restoration. The chokes had been removed at some point. They are not needed and can actually be harmful. There is a dent in the right front of the tank and two broken fins on the right side of the head. I would reccomend new tires if the bike is goig to be a daily rider.

Bike was my fathers who passed away , the only flaw is fork boots are split or cracked , rest of it is great , nice looking bike . Dad was an old flat tracker and had like 25 baa triumphs ect,,, it has been in storage kept, lobule is worth more ( if u looks up value u will c) but i need to sell it.
