The engine only has a little over 15,000 miles on it. Almost everyone was to tight both intake and exhaust. The dust cover for the rear brake is missing but I have one on order from Suzuki. Overall condition is very good. Lots of miles left to go. There is a small dent on the right side of the gas tank near the front

Carbs need to be sync and tune not running right have original air box I have more invested in bike lost interest on continuing to work on it the chrome is very nice excellent seat all lights and electrics works good starter very clean bike I have clear PA title from previous owner also have new oil filter and plugs go with bike. 1982 GS 850L Suzuki purchased a few years ago new front tire,battery new coils carbs,rebuilt at a Suzuki dealer about a year ago

It was on the road every year and garage stored, very low miles, it looks great and runs even better, new battery and front tire last year, the only thing i can think of is he relocated the starter button from the handle to the brake, I think the original button failed and he did his own thing. He was an air force mechanic on fighter planes and was a maintenance maniac and would Vaseline the chrome and use stabil when he stored it, and ran sea foam every year, the carbs are clean as day one, looked inside the tank, no rust anywhere, this is a remarkable survivor

There are a few scrapes and scratches, the most significant being two scratches on the right side of the tank and a pea sized ding to the right of th. All of the lights, signals, horn and instruments work, as does the gear position indicator and fuel gauge. I did notice some oil weeping around the cam cover on one side, so it may need a new valve cover gasket at some point

It has a 1 year old gel battery, and new back tire (less than 200 miles). Also comes with driver floor boards with heel and toe shifter and brake lever not attached. There has been a lot of updates including; 5,000 mile Carbs w/ freshly compensated Dyno jets, K & N pod air filter intake, straight-piped exhaust, freshly painted gas tank, side panels, crash bars, etc. Motor has 28,505 miles on it with a clean title Missing side emblems, and some of the newer wires have to be wired so gas gauge and Tachometer can work. This is a 1980 Suzuki GS850 GL I trimmed all the "fat" off the bike for a much more sleek cosmetically appealing look
