The Slingshot is a unique vehicle sharing characteristics with a motorcycle and a sports car. The vehicle rides on three wheels with the rear wheel driven by a belt and powering the vehicle while the front wheels handle the steering. The engine is a 2384 cc DOHC 16-valve inline-4, aluminum block and head, port fuel injection developing 173 horsepower at 6200 rpm. Transmission is a 5 speed manual. This unusual roadster is wild to look at and very cool to drive. Currently it has 1,551 miles since new. It handles wonderfully with traction control and ABS. It has seat belts with side protection and rollover protection. It comes equipped with back-up camera and audio system. Storage is available behind both seats. The Slingshot is licensed as a motorcycle in Alabama. I have original documents, owner’s manual and two sets of keys.
