What we have here is a somewhat rare find these days, a nearly mint '84 interceptor. I purchased this bike from the original owner, whom i've been friends with since the day he brought it home in 1984! I got it off him in 2012 with 16,400 on the clock. Bike has a supertrapp full-exhaust and i have the original system, in great shape, in the attic! Brake and clutch levers, polishedtelefixx clip-ons, much lower then stock. Braided steel lines on front-brakes, clutch, and rear brake. External oiling system (amol precision) for top-end, upgraded cams & rockers. Napoleon bar-end mirrors. Fox twin-clicker shock, rebuilt last winter. Heavier fork springs. Original oem solo cowl. Synthetic suede seat cover w/red stitching. Amsoil since i've had it, and i believe previous owner ran synthetic. Shortened rear fender. (have stock one, untouched)i have all the original parts except for the seat cover!! I polished the lips of the wheels and edges of the spokes, the exhaust canisters, rotors, where the screws hold them on, foot-peg brackets, levers, and the rear brake torque arm. Not to worry if it's done right, it's been my business for 24 years. "the shining. Just severed on a set of michelin pilot activ tires. Less than 100 miles on them, but that will change if this doesn't find a new home quickly, because i'm going to ride it! Now for the not-so-great stuff:l/h fairing has tiny little scuff, shown in pic. R/h side of inner fairing has small bump/crack, also shown in pic. Bike is a bit recalcitrant starting when stone-cold. I went through the carbs when i brought it home, but neglected to go through the choke circuits. Bike pulls clean right to 10k. Not that i rev it that high very often. I've been riding for 50 years and have always been, let's say, mechanically sympathetic. That's it for the not-so-great. Bikes runs, shifts, handles, and looks. Besides all the original parts, i have a new l/h fairing panel. Also a brand new fairing/headlight bracket. Set of white body blinkers. They were on it when i got it, he had new black ones which i couldn't mount up fast enough! New lockhart-phillips smoke windshield. Buying a good friends 1972 norton commando, and need the room and more importantly, the money. Thanks for looking, and that's my story and i'm sticking with it! On jun-27-17 at 14:04:34 pdt, seller added the following information:the text up top says i "severed" on a new set of tires. Obviously it should have read "levered". All the paint on the engine and covers looks great. On jun-29-17 at 09:44:16 pdt, seller added the following information:i also have the original owners manual, in the pouch it came in, and the original tool kit with all the tools, in it's pouch also, under the seat. The official honda workshop manual in the honda loose leaf binder along with a bunch of notes from the original owner pertaining to oil changes, top-end mods, tires, etc. Kind of rare to find all this stuff with the bike.

For sale is a 1985 honda vf1000r. The bike turns over but does not currently run. It should not be hard to have this bike running. Please look at the photos carefully. There is some damage on the fairings as seen on the photos. The bike has an aftermarket exhaust. Electrics appear to be functions but will need to be gone through. I had bought the black vf1000r in the background as a parts bike and because it only had 13,000 miles. This bike is not currently running but the previous owner did state it was running prior to storage. I have the title for the red, white, and blue vf1000r in the previous owners name. The auction is for both motorcycles.

Up for sale is my 1965 honda vf1000r from my collection and it is in pristine condition and is listed with an astonishing 442 miles. The bike sat indoors for 27 years but that a full refresh has already been completed (details below). Refresh detailsflushed brakes, add stainless steel braided brake lines, rebuilt rear master cylinderlubed and adjusted throttle and clutch cablesflushed cooling systemtorqued and checked all chassis fittings and fasteners, check/tighten steering head bearings,replaced shock (rear) with hagon coil-over upgrade, shock was valved and springs for me being a 180 lb. Replaced battery, ngk spark plugs, performed compression check and full tune, including clean and synch carbs, flush fuel tank and add 1 gallon bath metal rust remover, replace petcock assembly (leaking). Added engine top-end oiling kit from daughtry motorsports (early vf1000's were reported to suffer top end oiling deficiency and this kit addresses that fully). Includes oil filter with adapter for top-end oiling kit. Replaced original tires (old and cracked) with brand new bridgestone battlax bt45's. Went to 150/70/17 rear (stock was 140) and 120/80/16 front (stock size).
