Guys who work on motorbikes. Guys who leave project bikes in said ladies' basements after leaving for school out of state. I bought this 1982 honda nighthawk 750 in the summer of 2012 with the purest of intentions. 'the motor turns over! It already runs on starting fluid! I'll clean up the carbs, sort out the breaks, put in a new battery, and i'll be on the open road in no time!' i thought to myself, naively. After five years of this bike gazing at me wistfully with its slightly crooked headlight (see picture 3 above), i'm finally willing to admit defeat. If i was selling a triumph, this would be a whole other situation. This magnificent monster of a machine is, as best i am aware, complete, save for a few parts i've removed. I've already disposed of the corroded lead-acid battery which came with the bike. Though the battery will be missed deeply, he is survived by a fairly rusty battery mount (picture 8), as well as a wiring harness which i haven't tested. I've also removed the right-hand side exhaust pipe, which was rusted through. Both the tires currently on the bike are in decent enough condition, but as i'm giving up my dreams of honda nighthawk ownership, may as well give up the spare tire, too. Also of note:as i live in georgia and this bike is pre-1985, there's no title. The bike will come with a bill of sale. The gas tank has two dents, one on the left-hand side at the forwardmost corner (visible pictures 2, 5), the other on the right-hand side under the h of the honda badge. Neither dent particularly affects the gas tank's basic ability to be a gas tank. As a result of the bike's mysterious past, the left-hand side headlight mount is slightly crimped. It doesn't seem to affect anything structural, it just makes it look like the bike is trying hard to avoid eye contact. Any questions, please feel free to ask.

I have taken it on long trips and it always started and has worked well. Its a rigid little airbag under the seat. Super fun, simple engine and everything works. FYI nothing is wrong with it. I love the bike, Just upgrading.. It has music via Bluetooth
