Selling my trusty BMW R60/6 (among other bikes in my collection) to help pay for daughter's education costs. She has 39K miles and runs like a top. I would rate this bike as a 8/10 on the mechanical side. Front brake stop light switch does not work (I use the back brake to engage the brake light). Otherwise, bike works as it did when it was new 42 years ago. Holds smooth idle, makes proper airhead valve train "tink", transmission operates properly (which is to say, clunky.) Good clutch, all fluids recently changed. Cosmetically, she is a solid 6. White paint is holding up well (some touch up does show). A prior owner had a Vetter fairing mounted so the frame has some paint missing on the engine cradle tubes, and a little more on the swing arm from battery acid. Fasteners and spokes are weathered. Seat could use some repairs or a new seat cover. Has the correct Metzler tires with good tread, however, they are older tires and I have two Shinko replacements that go with the bike.
