I am selling my ultra rare Italian super bike, #18 of 50 units officially imported into the United States. Bimota always used top notch equipment on their bikes. The SB8R comes stock with Paioli adjustable front forks, Ohlins shocks and steering damper. This SB8R has an Arrow Racing exhaust, 6 pot ISR front racing caliper, Evoluzione full range fuel trimmer adjustable on the fly, etc. While the design is pure Italian, the manufacturer used a modified Suzuki TL1000 R motor to ensure reliability while providing more than ample horsepower. Engine parts and service are readily available at the local Suzuki dealer and are inexpensive. Unlike other Italian super bikes, the cams are chain driven with no belts to replace. It's really having the best of both worlds. My SB8R has just over 6900 miles that go up as the bike is ridden. I purchased the bike from a major collection of exotic Italian super bikes. I hold a clean California title in hand, bike has been insured from day 1 while in my possession. One last word: Bimota have always been one of the most expensive bikes available on the market. They were hand built, tailored to those that wanted only the best in terms of speed and handling that could be had on two wheels. Bimota also happen to be one of the best kept secrets on the exotic super bike scene. They sell for much less than a comparable classic Super Bikes from their Italian competitors.
