The body tub, fenders, hood, and tailgate are all new steel from4 Wheel Drive Hardware. The windshield frame is also new, and it's the CJ3Astyle. These are better looking than the CJ2A style, uses a 1 piece windshield,has a vent, and moves the wipers to the bottom of the windshield. The body,fenders, tailgate, hood, grill, and windshield frame were all powder coatedyellow inside, outside, top, and bottom before assembly. Then, after assembly,the exterior was painted the same yellow color. This Jeep will never rust!! Onthe inside, it has custom front bucket seats, and a rear jump seat. I fabricatedfront seat mounts that relocated the front seats back farther than stock. I alsoshortened the steering column 4 inches. As anyone who has ever driven a flatfender Jeep knows, they are pretty cramped. These modifications make it muchmore comfortable. I'm going to try this one more time: no reserve. It starts, stops, shifts and runs great. It is equipped with winch and gun rack for hunting and off road use, has military ndt tires on original 16 inch wheels. Three coats of original wwii od color paint inside-outside and underneath. 12 volt electrics with 12 volt battery and 12 volt gauge, 12 volt alternator and high torque starter. Has lockout hubs on front axle, all lights work, horn works, has non original kn breather filter, appears to have original speedometer with 62194 miles showing, but there is no way to verify those miles, has invasion stars to represent invasions the 45th made, jerry can and holder, black vinyl non original seat cushions (on modified original seat frames) and rear seat, the wheel well behind driver's seat has been modified so with a little work the seat can be put back some. It does mark it's territory as usual. It does have some hat channel rust, but not to bad. It's not perfect, but in pretty doggone good condition, there is no warranty expressed or implied, after all it is 70 years old. I will answer all questions to the best of my knowledge. It does have a clean clear oklahoma title, oklahoma tag.

Willys was a brand name used by willys-overland motors, an american automobile company best known for its design and production of military jeeps (mbs) and civilian versions (cjs) during the 20th century. The lessons learned with the cj-2 led to the development of the first full-production cj, the 1945-1949 willys-overland cj-2a. The cj-2a looked very much like a civilianized mb with a tailgate and side-mounted spare tire. One major difference between the mb and the cj-2a was the grilles of the two vehicles. The mb had recessed headlights and nine-slot grilles while the cj2a had larger headlights flush-mounted in a seven-slot grille. In place of the mb's t-84 transmission, the cj-2a was equipped with the beefier t-90 three-speed transmission. The cj-2a was still powered by the reliable l-134 go-devil engine. This vehicle is powered by the always reliable l-134 f-head 4-cylinder engine that turns right over and runs like a top and paired to a 3 speed manual transmission that is strong in every gear and appears to be free of any issues or damage. The current owner of this vehicle has had it for just under a year and was not given much documentation on it regarding any repairs, restoration work or service. The body appears to be in great shape and the paint has held up exceptionally well. The cloth seats, soft top and the rest of the interior shows very well and appears to be free of any damage or issues.
