I have a 1982 volvo 240 dl turbo for sale. This car has been well taken care of and is a lot of fun to drive. It's got the turbo and an aftermarket suspension, rear wheel drive and a manual transmission. It get's great gas mileage. Come take it for a drive and see what i mean. The paint is weathered but the body is straight and the interior is good. If a deal is made i'm willing to get it to the salt lake city area.

This is the only 242 that i've seen actually driving around. I bought it in december 2015. A local mechanic installed two new fuel pumps then to get it running properly. Since then i've been driving it twice a month from provo to logan for a year with no issues. It recently started to stall randomly and it seems to be the fuel injectors but i don't know, hence the low asking price. I am firm on the price.

Check out my store for more great unique and classic cars. Make sure and check out the video below. This is just a great car. I knew the car was rare when i got it but i didn't know how rare. They made hardly any red ones. To see a red coupe in this model is just a great find. I get a ton of compliments on this car. This car runs great and is a blast to drive. Engine and 4-speed manual transmission with the push button overdrive feature which is very cool. This car is a blast to drive. The body is as straight as can be and the paint just shines in the sun still. These coupes are great cars. All of the chrome and trim on the car in excellent condition. Has the factory wheels that have the chrome beauty ring chrome center caps with the v logo in the middle. There are a couple scrapes on the rings but nothing major and they still look great. This car has spent most of it's life in a a garage i'm guessing. Comes with the owners manual, books, speaker instructions, stereo instructions and original window sticker the interior is clean on the car but is not perfect. It has the cloth seats. The seats are in good condition but could use a really good cleaning. There is 1 tiny hole in the drivers seat and that is it. The carpets are in great. The light colored interiors like this a hard to keep looking good but it has been kept very clean over the years. All the door panels, headliner, dash, everything just in great shape. Has a nice aftermarket cassette player. This car has been well cared for over the years inside and out and it shows. There was very few of these made in a coupe with the 4-speed and in this color. For sale is my 1979 242 gt with 177k original miles., this as an excellent example of a very rare car and this one is in outstanding condition. Motor is strong and runs very well, i would drive it anywhere. Interior is also in fantastic shape no tears on the cloth and no cracks on dash . Body is also very very good with paint very shiny and body panels straight. Car is all original with the exception of a respray and an upgraded suspension with poly bushings, ipd lowering springs and bilstien hd shocks and struts. And an ipd sport exhaust. I have also had a brand new clutch and clutch cable professionally installed within the last 500 miles. There are a few blemishes starting to show on the paint, the grille is faded and the rims could use refinishing. I have a few extra parts to go with her if the price is right. I have only seen one of these in better condition that this one.

Engine that starts right up and runs great. Someone took very good care of the car over the years and it shows. Under the hood and undercarriage are clean and dry as can be along with the rest of the car. It is a light metallic gold color. I have the hood, roof, and trunk repainted because it was faded and clear coat was peeling. Nothing major this is just a rare car and i couldn't leave it with faded paint. So all of the top surfaces have fresh paint and the rest of the paint is in excellent condition. Has the factory painted wheels with chrome center caps and beauty rings. All of which are in excellent condition. Has a very nice set of micheline tires that have lots of tread life left. Power windows work a/c needs recharged sunroof is manual and works the interior is in very good condition on this car but is not perfect. The leather seats look great but there are some spots where the leather got dry and is a little worn. There isn't any rips or tears anywhere and overall the look great. The carpets are in great shape the are tan in color and there is a couple spots that have been faded by the sun. Nothing major but it is noticeable. The dash doesn't have any cracks in it and the door panels are in good condition. Everything in the car works. Car came with a lot of options for a 76 and to still have everything look this good and work still is rare. They didn't make many of these coupes without the chopped top like this one.
