1959 Volkswagen Single Cab Truck 1641cc Fun Ride! First, It's titled as a 1967 due to no paperwork available when the man who built it, built it. He was from Texas and was able to transfer the VIN plates during the build. This is not un-common in the classic world. Second, The front wheel wells are TUBBED and it used to sit on Air-Ride. Since then, the air-ride has been removed and taken back up. The motor is a 1641 and runs strong. Within the last year, put a new battery, new starter, new plugs, new wires, new fuel filter, rebuilt the dual carps, and got it running good. replaced the seal in the gas cap and oil cap. The bed was sanded down and coated with a product called lizard skin which is kind of like a bedliner but a different texture and painted it to match. The wiring has all been checked and everything works as it should. It does need a speedometer cable. have the documentation from when the man built it. He made a label for everything and wrote it all down with dates and all. The two front tires are about 6 months old and the backs are in new condition. The bodywork and paint was all done . There are ghost flames on the front which look cool. There is a 3rd brake light mounted flush above the rear window. The paint is NOT perfect and there are flaws but it still looks good. The body is pretty straight and I'm sure there is probably a patch or two of bondo have the bed rails but they are not finished The interior was all done recently as well and looks great. New door panels, kick panels, roof panels, and seat. The middle part of the seat was cut and made to raise up in order to access the storage below. The CD player works well and has a remote to go with it. The doors lock and the ignition it point on. The storage compartment and doors have good seals. CD Player

Hello to all ebayers! I have been with ebay for several years and i want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, i’m liquidating my collection since i’m selling my warehouse. I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so i sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to california to add to my collection. This vw truck is located in a copart facility in waldorf, md. I tried to sell it on copart but this vehicle is a classic clean vehicle and they have a salvage yard so it's not the best place to sell this vehicle there. This vehicle has a clear virginia title. The odometer shows 34,810 miles, but on the title it has 123,573 not actual miles. It could actually have 134,810 miles. This is a very rare 1971 vw t2 double pick-up! I bought it from a collector of rare automobiles from virginia and this is truly a unique and awesome vw. It is such a rarity and a beauty. Mechanicalthe truck is equipped with an air-cooled 1600-cc engine that has dual intake ports on each cylinder head and produces 50 hp. This vw is mechanically sound and can be driven and enjoyed. All lights and gauges are working. It runs and drives smoothly, and the 4-speed transmission shifts nicely. The clutch is great. Exterior exterior is in great condition. It’s got a very nice paint. The undercarriage is very dry and solid. This vehicle has always been garage–kept. It has some minor imperfections, but no rust holes. The bed is very nice and clean. Interiorthe interior is in a fantastic shape. Only 5. 9 percent of volkswagen’s worldwide truck production for 1971 consisted of double-cab pickups, and only a tiny fraction of those were imported into the u. S., making this a very rare find indeed. It is such an attention getter, that it’s a blast to drive it around! I have tried my best to describe this vehicle as accurately as i can. People have different opinions and expectations of older vehicles. Remember, this car is from the 1970’s and can have some imperfections that i'm not aware of. This vehicle is advertised on other websites, so i have the right to end the auction early if it gets sold. I'm not a dealer, but just a very passionate collector of classic cars and trucks. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due when the auction ends. Balance is to be paid via bank wire or a certified bank cashier's check. Check will need to clear before the vehicle is released and the title is sent. All non-paying bidders will be reported to ebay. Disclaimerpeople have different opinions and expectations of older vehicles. Remember, this vehicle is from the 1970’s, and even though i’ve tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which i’m not aware of. I’m saying this because i’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered!

Allbushings were replaced with poly bushings. No expense was spared when built. I've owned it for going on 3 years and have won best of show at multipleshows. I think it blew a resistor (but not 100% sure). I havenot removed it to check. Turn signals and high beam indicators do work. Throwout bearing is chattering a bit and will need to be replaced in the future. Other than that, no surprises.
