I bought this car earlier this year with the intention of using it as a winter commuter. I will be moving before this winter so it is no longer needed. It's in great shape cosmetically, and has been kept completely stock. The reason for the low price is that it has a misfire. It runs and drives just fine the way it is, but lacks power because of the misfire. I haven't had the time to look into it and i'm sure it's an easy fix. It doesn't leak a drop of oil, the head gaskets are good, and all 4 cylinders have good equal compression. The turbo is in great shape also. It's an awesome car with loads of potential and i really wish i could keep it. Cash only, no trades.

This has been my project car for 2 years now and i cannot justify putting even more money into it so it has to go. It currently is swapped with a jdm ej20 with about 62k on it but it threw a rod or spun a bearing the car does run though, will need a rebuild or a new motor though. It also has a trans out of 04 wrx with 114k on it with a spec stage 2. 5 clutch with a very short throw shifter and brand new cv axles up front. Has 04 wrx brakes all around too with drilled and slotted rotors with about 3k on them with new calipers up front. The interior is in pretty good shape other than the ignition being taken apart because i had lost the key, 1 small tear in the drivers seat. Engine mods: it has a vf34 turbo, 565cc pink sti injectors, oversized radiator, gfb bov, straight piped except for a resonator and a magnaflow muffler coming from a 3-4inch downpipe off the turbo. The suspension is aftermarket red struts that i'm not sure of, bought the car with them on it. Boost gauge as well and a carbon fiber hand brake. Has 4 new tires, some no name rims that are like brand new under the plasti dip. I'm sure i'm forgetting some things. I'm negotiable on price even though i've spent well over 10k on this car now with motors and transmissions and clutches.

I have owned it for two years replaced clutch,starter, alternator, tie rod ends and ball joints. Previous owner said timing belt and water pump done around 130,000 miles. We had it painted two years ago average job but looks ok Bluetooth

I cannot get it to embed. Be/ku-wymb-ijw a little background/history to the vehicle. I am selling what used to be my brother in-law, colin’s, 03 wrx. He bought this car with 66,xxx miles on it. The car was not touched at that time, bone stock. He commuted with the car from ny to nj. In 2012, he blew the , put the car up on jack stands, and ended up using his as his primary vehicle. He managed to get the short block warrantied by . Since this did not cost him a dime, he decided to purchase heads and have them built by a head mechanic at subaru(where he worked and i currently work). To accommodate for the slight upgrade in power he bought a 2003 wrx tranny with 05 internals, because we all know the 02/03 transmissions were built like glass. In 2013, colin passed away from merkel cell carcinoma. In early 2014, my sister and i decided to finish the car. We had mike botti tune the car, moderately making 300whp, nothing crazy. There is a lot of sentimental value behind this car and a lot of history behind this car. It was colin's passion. He was never well enough to finish the job. My sister and i wanted to make sure it was finished and done right. And the money would be great to have- this doesn't mean i will take low balls, so don't bother. I start the car every weekend. When i do, it literally fires right up. It starts quicker than my 15’ sti. This car is extremely clean. I will most likely not have a decent amount of parts listed, as colin was the one who did majority of the work on the vehicle. The only 'cons' i can point out about the car are, the has a small ding, which can be pulled out- very easily. The are not installed. The engine bay is a little bit dirty that's about it.
