Low mileage survivor. Trans and drive train all good. Original hitachi carb runs excellent. Engine is running but has a internal coolant leak. It needs front axels rebuilt and a new radiator asap. It will need a oil change and a fuel filter to drive more than a few miles.. I was restoring this car so some work has been done. The interior is very clean and has a working original radio, heater, lights, gauges. The t tops are working and still seal. This car is 98 percent complete, no mods all factory. Includes original manual, six tires, spare tire under hood, shell is very good condition. This truck climbs like no other. This is a rat car rebuild or a awesome parts car. The engine is strong and needs a little love... Make me an offer i cant refuse. Thanks for looking, jeff.

1985 subaru brat, vehicle is in very good condition for the year only has 80,000 miles, no leaks, automatic transmission, 4wd works great, extensive list of new parts including weber carburetor, and new tires, vehicle runs great and is very reliable, factory radio even works wonderfully, i have many extra parts including 2 factory carbs, all emissions components and a haynes manual. also it was the 18th vehicle manufactured in 1985 making it a "low number" vehicle.

Here's the good stuff: it's got a low 171k original miles4 speed manual transmission4wd hi/lo works greatt-tops don't leak clean title in my namepassed oregon deq last year with no problemvery little rust that i can find here's the stuff it needs:the 3rd eye headlamp up front doesn't workthe gas and oil gauges don't always work reliablythe clear coat is peeling, so needs to be redone the jump seats are included, but need to be welded back in - previous owner cut them out.

This is an 1986 subaru brat with the shell. The add wouldn't accept it as a 1986. This is a running vehical. Radio works heater works. Did a fuel pump and a tune up has a bunch of extra parts. The tires hold air but could use new tires. Priced them out online $32. 50 a tire!! $1500 obo need it gone.

For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. Vehicle runs and drives great, i daily drove it for years and is still driven almost every day. Has been an extremely reliable vehicle. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. This truck has dual range 4wd (hi/low), a 4 speed manual transmission, and a 1. 8l ea81 boxer 4 cyl engine with weber 32/36 carburetor. Runs and drives great, has brand new tires (about 25 miles on them) and fresh paint on the stock wheels. The interior is in fantastic shape for this model year. The drivers seat has a big tear, but both could certainly be reupholstered rather than replaced. The carpet could stand to be replaced. Also included are some rear jump seats from an older model which i never installed as well as a high top bed cap in decent shape. This truck has gotten 30 miles per gallon on the highway. Many parts have been replaced in the past 20,000 miles, i have recorded all maintenance and the list is available upon request. This is an extremely convenient vehicle, as it is formidable off road, the bed can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood no problem, handles surprisingly well, shifts very smooth, has heat and a/c, pulls a small trailer or boat nicely, and brakes quickly. With the weber carb, it is not painfully slow and i have no problems doing 70-80 mph on the highway. The truck has some small issues that i am currently taking care of one at a time:1. There is a fair amount of rust. Structurally, the vehicle is perfectly sound but the rocker panels are gone (i do have some new ones to include with the vehicle), there is some bed rust, particularly on the driver side wheel well, certain exhaust components (resulting in a small exhaust leak) and the floor boards are starting to rust through at a few small places. My friend is a welder and we have been repairing the rust one step at a time on the weekends, it will probably take us another 2 or 3 weeks before it has all been patched and undercoated. I will also likely paint the bed. 2. There is a small oil leak from an oil pump gasket and a small coolant leak somewhere under the intake manifold. I plan to take care of them both soon. 3. The paint is starting to look rough on the hood and roof, and there are dents. I will possibly be taking care of the dents once i finish #1 and #2 on this list, and may then consider a paint job. There are also a few rust spots at various places on the body i may remedy. This is a 31 year old, utilitarian vehicle and as such, may have some small issues that i am not aware of or have forgotten to mention. As it sits, this truck starts every time, drives and handles great, and is perfectly suitable to be daily driven if necessary. It was inspected not too long ago, though the sticker has since expir.
