S answer to a slew of high performance compact sport cars that took the country by storm. They were released in 1996 after 4 years of development and consulting with toyota. The car was an immediate success and many believe saved the company from acquisition. Sales went great and in 2002 the car went through a minor facelift after consumer feedback. This beauty is a rare british racing green one with the paint being in exceptional shape. With this drop top, having just over 47000 miles the car shows in excellent condition. The clean vehicle history report has no marks on it giving it a clean bill of health. The 2. 7 liter inline 6 is original to the car and is all porsche. With the cylinders arranged horizontally and opposing each other it is a unique design and has a very distinct sound. Add to that the engine is mounted mid instead of rear this has a lot of the same features of cars that cost 3 times as much. Mounted up to an automatic transmission making this beauty even more of a rarity. S all about performance so this auto can be driven much like a stick shift. A simple slap of the shifter to the left and the transmission graciously goes up to the next gear. The black cloth top is in great condition and has a great contrast against the green paint. The interior is done in tan leather with nice black accents which really ties it all together. Options for this 2002 porsche boxster include air conditioning, am/fm/cd radio, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, abs, tilt wheel, traction control, keyless entry, leather interior, seat belts, anti-theft system, aluminum wheels and radial tires.
