Raymond was born may 22, 1926 at springfield, mo to henry mansfield and camilla ralston plaster. He served his country during wwii in the united states navy as a signalman 3rd class in the asiatic pacific. He was a groceryman and started his career opening plaster’s master markets in springfield, mo. He later worked for associated wholesale grocers then moved to arkansas in 1969 and opened a grocery store in bull shoals, ar. He merged his stores with harp’s markets, and then established ramon’s markets until his retirement. Raymond married annettia carol hart on december 23, 1994, at gainesville, mo. He was 32nd degree mason and a member of the flippin assembly of god church. Raymond’s true passion was classic cars, packards and model a’s.
