I also have a 1978 Blue, Oldsmobile Toronado Brougham, 8 cyl., 403 ORIGINAL engine that I am going to list here on classic cars dot com. I drove it into my basement in 1998 to put new wheel bearings on the front. The company, Dixie Bearings, went out of business shortly thereafter and I couldn't get the parts.. I've recently found a parts warehouse that carries them. The car runs great and the engine has only 198,000 miles on it.. 403 ORIGINAL engine. Very low mileage at 161,010. 1977 White, Oldsmobile Toronado Brougham. 8 cyl

Usual wear and tear on a 39 year old car. Runs smooth, transmission shifts effortlessly. Have replaced the tires, brakes, shocks (load levelers in rear, tie rods, ball joints and both cv joints. When driving i wanted to be sure all would be fine. Body is in very good shape, take a close look at the pictures. Need seat covers on the front seat, air conditioning works. What's left to work on... Radio does not work but i have installed a cd player, clock does not work. Small bb chip in windshield. Mileage is at 65,000, not sure if it turned over or not, i was told this sat in a garage for 20 years when i purchased it about 5 years ago. This toronado sold new in arizona and shows only 48,000 miles on the odometer. The paint, top, chrome and interior are original and excellent. It's obvious by the condition that this toronado has been pampered and garaged. There's no sun fade on the interior and the ash tray and cigarette lighter appear to have never been used.
