Everything on this classic cruiser works just as it did when it was new; from the lights to the speedometer and even the analog clock in the dash. Recent work on the vehicle includes the addition of a power antenna, the door jams were repainted and seals were replaced, new alternator, and new electronic fuel pump. Under the hood of this olds is a numbers-matching 303 cid rocket v8, as well as the original 4-speed hydra-matic transmission, which was only equipped in early model year super 88�? Late model year vehicles were equipped with buick�? S 2-speed dynaflow automatic transmission, as a fire in gm�? Unlike the original hydra-matic plant, this super 88 has survived the test of time and runs and drives like a car less than half its age and is one of the last cars with a hydra-matic from the original plant.
