The Dealer Suggested Price was $3523.00 The Power Top is in Good Working Order . 390 V-8 . Automatic - 3 speed Gear Box . History on this car: This car was placed into service on 10/14/1968 It was Sold by "Sierra Lincoln Mercury" 3350 Kietzke Lane, in Reno, Nevada The telephone # at that time for the Dealership was listed as 786-1881. (They didn't even post the area code on their original Dealership sleeve.) This '69 was sold to a man in Las Vegas Nevada. In 2002, in Arizona, the current owner decided he wanted the car painted red and chose Maaco. The paint is the obvious weakness of the car. Inside the trunk the red paint is peeling off and the original white surface was not even prepped or sanded. It was gorgeous and the Factory Color was White! This car could use a quality restoration and is worthy of it! It is cool, roomy and runs great! A custom Hitch was installed with a 1 7/8 ball with a 4-way flat vehicle connector for $300.00. It appears that the owner was planning on pulling a boat or small trailer. inch engine was plenty capable to pull. ... Rear Air Shocks were installed in 2005 at Big O Tires in Glendale Az. The invoice was for $260.37 which was a great deal of money for a pair of shocks, including labor..... Also in July of 2005 the A/C was all replaced, including the fan & Clutch. ***The mileage was only 25,195 miles. $1,175.00 was the cost.... In 2010 this classic was a "Texas" car for sure! A New Power Steering Pump and New Brake Master Cylinder were installed in San Angelo, Texas. Vehicle Code 76A M 2W 19J 53 2 U 1969 Mercury Monterey Convertible White - Original Color 1969 was the first year. Produced 1969-1974 The concept came from a Ford Wagon with a Mercury Front Clip and Trim. The re-designed Mercury was intended to emulate the Lincoln Continental. Mercury and Lincoln automobiles have always been a step above the Ford line in Price and Stylish Trim. ................... I just drove the car in the Gate. It starts good, runs good, brakes well and steers well. It is spacious and has a large trunk. Rag tops are always cool!
