Serious inquiries only : momwbminnisemory@inmano. Com 1974 lotus europa special 5-speed, big valve twin cam engine, 35k miles, built april 1974, nice oatmeal interior, only 3-owner history. Car starts easily, runs and drives ok. This is a very nice driver that has been maintained and driven and would be certainly welcome at local shows, car club activities and road rallies. It has undergone a frame-off restoration by its 2nd owner back in the mid 1990s. The 20-year old restoration is now showing its age, the paint is tired, original color was lagoon blue, has cracked windshield at rear view mirror connection, the shifter is sloppy and needs new headliner and sunvisors included, but not installed. Dash veneer has some cracking, after market steering wheel. Chrome fair to good, no body damage evident. Car has newer tires, rebuilt brakes, rebuilt stromberg carbs, new starter, new center caps, new exhaust system. Car retains its rear trunk box. All electrics, lights and gauges appear to be working.

The car was fitted from factory with koni shocks. The rears were replaced with new factory set (trying to rise the rear but it’s the same height as before) the original konis assemblies are included in the sale. The rear bearings were redone including new u-joints. The car was last used in 1996. It’s being in the shop on display most of its life. The car was prepped for the storage by lubricating the engine, taking gas out, etc. Engine rotated every month. The car has some engine modifications. The valve cover is stamped with the level of modifications. Emissions deleted, polished and balanced engine internals, higher compression, aluminum flywheel, exhaust headers, japanese alternator, etc. The interior is nice – dash is good but the clear coat has cracks. The dash abs cap needs to be replaced – it’s warped from the texas sun. Rear suspension has adjustable lower links. The car has a sunroof installed which can be completely removed – making the interior open and letting the air in and out better. Yes not original but actually very functional and a pleasure to have. A complete replacement roof cap is included in the sale if the new owner wants to remove the sunroof. The car has new 15x7 period correct looking wheels and new dunlop tires with “0” miles. Hubs were upgraded with larger studs and lug nuts. If the original spider wheels are preferred i can exchange them but the car is being sold with one set of wheels. Sunroof/Moonroof

The car is in excellent condition. Superformance s1tube frame, 1,350 lbs with engine and transmission. High quality fiberglass and aluminum body. Front suspension is as adjustable as a pure open-wheel race car. Rear suspension is a solid rear axel with mumford link system to keep weight low. Good sized lockable trunk (approx. 5 cubic feet) with a solid cover. Car comes with removable doors, sliding windows and convertible top. Lockable glove box, fresh air ventilation with two speed fan assist, heat and a windshield with electronic defrost. The interior has a carbon fiber dash with oil pressure, tach, oil temp., water temp, speedo and clock. 10" steering wheel (removable and lockable). Seats are a great fit with 4 point willans harnesses. Two tone paint (black and silver) with chrome headlights, chrome gas cap and side exhaust. Ford z-tech 2 liter 16 valve duel overhead cam engine.
