My jeep cj-8 has an aftermarket full hardtop with sun roof, interior light, and rear break light, but the original half-top, behind the seat bulkhead, and bikini top are included with the purchase. The name "scrambler" is commonly used for the cj-8, and only a few were ever sold in the usa making this classic vehicle very collectible. A replacement long block engine (4. 2l i6) was installed november 2008 along with a mopar multi-point injection (mpi) system, and only 5243 miles have been logged since the replacement. I have invoices that contain multiple enhancements--including new exterior paint, interior spray-in liner, and skyjacker lift kit. A custom 33 gallon gasoline fuel tank with welded skid plate was installed recently, so longer trips are not an issue. And, a rollover valve was installed to prevent fuel leaks in case of a rollover accident. The glove box, center console and under the hood lock box are all manufactured by tuffy and are single keyed, and a bearcat cb was installed in the console. The vintage looking radio is actually an upgraded digital radio with mp3 hookup. There is a rear folding seat with a behind-the-seat storage box that's custom made for the cj-8. a clifford performance ceramic coated header is included with the purchase but not installed. A shop manual and drb-ii analyzer are also included. This jeep has been garaged since purchased so looks great! Us has a plug and play unichip for the mpi computer (ecu) that can be custom programmed to improve performance and fuel economy. If i were to keep this jeep, installing the header and a unichip would have been my next upgrade.
