Model 1978 cj5 jeep all vins are matching. Motor was rebuilt and pulled from another 1978 cj5. Transmission is a 3 speed t-18 and was overhauled a few months ago. Body with frame and all parts were purchased, and painted by select jeeps at the beginning of the restore. Paint color is called hemi orange. Frame was reconstructed in the front to make the jeep slightly longer, stronger, and track better on and off the road. This jeep barely fits in the garage but does, and is kept in my garage 24/7. All the vins match up and are original except for the engine and rear axel. The jeep has not been off road since the restore. I love the way these old jeeps look and i have only driven it around town on pretty days for fun. Motor is a 350 chevrolet small block. Was rebuilt during the process that started 5 years ago. Engine is liquid cooled. Has holley contender manifold, holly projection fuel injection system with brand new fuel injector assembly. Electric fan has been installed in front of the radiator. The engine cools very well, it sits around 190-200 degrees. The electric fan is on a sensor, and set to come on automatically at 195 and turn off under that. The engine is not as clean looking as the rest of the jeep but runs strong, and sounds amazing. Tranny is a borg warner t-18 3 speed with granny gear rebuilt 3 months ago. Dana 20 and dana 30 axles. Flowmaster mufflers true dual. 3" body lift. 4" suspesion lift. Brand new corbeau seats 3 point corbeau retractable harness original roll bar bed lined. Inside bed lined new bikini top all nobs and gauges are new but put in the exact same spot as original with the dash. Steering is set up like a drag car it has a button to remove the steering wheel for getting in and out or great for anti theft. Winch installed never been used. Brand new agr performance steering box & steering pump. Steering has been welded and braced for strength and handling. Car has current state inspection and registration. Brand new wheels and tires have been put on the jeep since photos. No wear on them yet. 35" mickey thompson baja claws and xd alloy wheels. Black american made steel deadlock wheels. There is more then double the money put in to this then i am asking for. Only serious inquiries. Title is clean and in hand. Was asking 24,500. 00 now asking only $19,500. 00. Complete off the frame restoration in 2012 each piece has been removed and professionally coated with a rhino liner type surface, 383 stroker roller engine, 4 speed transmission, atlas transfer case, Dana rears, Mickey Thompson tires, 2winches 15,000 lbs on the front with remote and a 9000 lbs hydrolic on the back. Jeep was built with the best of everything it has a roll cage and a rag top over $40,000 and a lot of time invested. Only problem front right fender needs replacing looks like battery acid damage
