It has the factory hard top option so body is in good shape for such an old jeep. The front steering has been rebuilt or new, including steering box, column, steering wheel etc. Mileage is listed as on current odometer, which I replaced so the true miles are unknown as the Spedo cluster has been replaced several times in 51 years This was my toy and I have put a lot of blood sweet and tears into it Cruise Control

The very first cj prototype was introduced in 1944 by willys, and the same basic vehicle stayed in production through seven variants and three corporate owners until 1986. The cj or civilian jeep became famous for their durability and ruggedness in during war-time operations and this is why the company immediately began production on the jeeps for civilian use at the end of wwii. Although the look of the jeep has remained close to that of its first off the line almost 70 years ago, they have had and were built for numerous purposes from farm use to that of municipalities. They also became famous amongst ranchers, hunters and off-road enthusiasts. The 1967 jeep cj5 offered here comes to us from the great state of texas where it spent the majority of its life on an expansive ranch. The mileage,29021, is said to be and believed to be original and this jeep has remained intact for its entire existence. It features newer royal blue metallic paint, custom steel wheels with newer tires, original gauges along with auxiliaries, jenson stereo, center mounted gun rack, pto driven koenig iron works king winch, center mounted gun rack, fully operational removable utility hardtop, rear mounted spare, engine mounted fire extinguisher, smittybuilt tow bar, fold down windshield, roll bar, camper mirrors, new shocks, new spring shackles with new busings and hardware, etc. This jeep is powered by its proven inline 4 cylinder engine, three speed transmission and rugged 4 wheel drive.
