1962 jaguar mkii 3. 8 saloon in an attractive color combination of red over a black interior, providing a distinctly sporting look to an already elegant style. This splendid saloon is powered by a 3. 8l inline 6-cylinder engine, backed by a 3-speed automatic trans. Dual su carburettors. Power steering and brakes. Bumper over-riders, dual rear-view mirrors, reclining front seats, rear picnic trays, nardi steering wheel. Older bare-metal restoration that presents very well (restoration pics on file). The restoration included full engine rebuild and bas ltd interior kit. Recent service including new master cylinder. Seattle-area car since 1988. Owner's manual, service manual, jack, and tools included. ��jaguar's maxim of "grace, space, and pace" are on full display with this mk ii. All in great condition. Chrome and glass are excellent. The interior is excellent, as well. Leather seats are nearly perfect and door panels, carpet, headliner, and dash are excellent. Mechanically this example is well-sorted. Nobody has what we have! Oil and filter service has recently been carried out, she behaves very well on the road with impeccable manners around town however, open her up and hang on, as she's very fast and super responsive, fit a roll cage and take her to the track! Suspension/wheels/tires and brakes harvey daily handling kit fitted to include, sway bars front and rear, front springs, which tie in nicely with the 4 piston disc front brake upgrade, rear brakes completely overhauled with new pads, rotors and rebuilt calipers, new brake lines, steering linkage replaced, the original wheels have been tuned, powder coated gloss black, and wrapped in sumitomo 215/65 r15 performance tires. Interior the driver’s seat is a 1960's period correct, coombs replica, aluminum bucket racing seat, with sfi approved 3'' racing lap belts, we still have the original driver’s seat. Moto lita 14" 3 spoke polished wooden steering wheel, smiths gauges have been restored and upgraded with led back lighting, at night they provide a clear warm glow to drive by, led dome lights, dynomating sound proofing covered with quality new carpets throughout. Alpine 7" touchscreen monitor and sound system, which actually looks like it came with the car back in 60's, loaded with sat nav, bluetooth, sirius xm radio, 5 channel amplifier, new alpine door speakers, 8" jl audio subwoofer mounted discretely in the trunk next to the relocated battery and cut off switch. This whole interior package makes for a wonderful place to be while driving. These cars are fast appreciating, tens of thousands of dollars have been invested in this stunning jag to make her "fast and furious" a real head turner that purrs and roars.
