Rebuilt 350 in 2003. 4.56 with Eaton Pozi rear end. Doug Thorlly headers and 3'' flow master exhaust. Truck has been garge kept. It has been used as a weekend driver, top off, beach cruisin' truck. The 3'' flow master gets there attention and the top off gets the girls turnin' their heads. I have not done any off roading. Truck needs work to get it off road ready. Front drive shafts is not hooked up. Truck has dings and scratches, it could use a fresh paint job. It still gets heads turning the way it sits. Top does not sit down on rails of truck bed properly. It lines up at windshield, brackets in the front and the dogleg brackets are in the back. It has new rims and tires. Tire size is 37×13.50R18LT, Nitto Mudd Grapplers. Front driver seat frame is cracked through. Fuel gage does not work. The truck has been a fun ride and lots of memories have been made in it, but now that my life has gotten busy it sits in the garage and no longer gets the attention it deserves.

The blazer was designed and marketed to compete with international harvester scout and the ford bronco. Both of these were originally aimed at the short jeep cj series, which were much smaller than other trucks. The great innovation of the blazer was to simply offer a shortened pickup truck, which both increased interior space, and lowered the cost of production with a shared platform. The blazer quickly became popular. For the first time, it married the off-road capabilities of the scout with the "luxury" features like air conditioning and automatic transmissions routinely available on pickup trucks.
