It has the 4. 2l v8 which is a lot of motor for a 2 door coupe like this. The car fires right up and runs great. It drives down the road very nicely and the tranni shifts when and how it is suppose to. I just love these 1 owner cars they are better cared for and maintained and tend to run better and for longer. This car is no exception with only having 73k original miles on it it is as clean as can be.. Make sure to watch the video i do a complete walkaround of the car and even go on a test drive. It is black in color with the black vinyl landau roof. The car looks really good. The paint is in excellent shape and except for a little bit of fading on the bumpers the paint looks great and has a very nice shine to it. It was probably kept in a garage most of the time. The vinyl top is in great shape. The car has a lot of chrome on it and its all in great shape and just shines in the sun. This car really stands out. It has the factory wire wheel covers that are in excellent condition and show hardly any road wear and the tires are a newer set of tires that have 85%-90% tread left. Options: automatic transmission 4. 2l v8 power windows power locks power seats leather factory a/c am/fm/cassette the interior is as clean as can be in this car. The tan leather interior goes great with the black exterior. The front seats look great and show very little wear and don't have any rips or tears in them anywhere. The back seats don't look like they ever got sat in much. The carpets are in the same great shape and show little wear and only have a couple minor stains that would come out with a good shampooing. The 1972 thunderbird, redesigned from the inside out. Precise in its handling, superlative on its ride, a magnificent personal huge 2dr automobile, perhaps the longest biggest 2dr car i ever seen. Personal in its luxurious appointments as well. This car is amazing! The big 429 has enough power to push this 6000 lb. Car to 15 second quarter mile times. It's floats smooth like a ship, that's what makes driving it so nice. Most comfortable car i've ever driven. It's one great and often overlooked piece of engineering history. T-birds ride and handle wonderfully, especially for a big car. They have great performance with the 429 v-8, are among the best in any car we've ever driven. The vinyl roof on the landau models has an imitation alligator grain pattern to it, which is unique. That car had a mountain of torque. This car is in amazing condition as if just roled off the factory line, no jokes! We mean it how well it has been kept never seen snow nor salt! 1972 to 1982 was in warm florida & since 1982 to 2016 present in sunny california.
