With the unique exterior, premium interior, and a 289 V8 under the hood, it's an attractive total package. That's because these are rare. In fact, there were less than 1,900 examples produced of this range-topping 500XL in 1967. The factory-correct Springtime Yellow is understated in many situations, but thanks to a respray it really pops in the sunlight. Plus, this has all the best '60s Ford features, like the stacked headlights, 289 callouts on the fenders, and the stylish 14-inch GT-style Deluxe wheel covers. The Ranchero in premium 500 XL trim really showcases its upscale mission inside with handsome stitching on the bucket seats, a center console, and lots of chrome on the instrument panel. So this feels more like a luxury classic than a pickup truck. The dash has even been freshly painted to keep this premium attitude. But beyond just looking great, there is a feeling of originality. Under the hood is Ford's 289 cubic-inch V8. This same easy cruising attitude goes for the power steering and power brakes. Rare and interesting with a striking number of surviving components – this Ranchero going to be the star in someone's garage. Bucket Seats✔ Air Conditioning

For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. 1967 ford ranchero xl project car. The car was running when i parked it several years ago. It has a 302 engine that i believe had a recent rebuild, however the oil dipstick tube is broke off at the timing cover. The transmission is a c4 auto. It has a 9-inch rear end but its not the locking type. The body is solid with no rust through. It is located in ca, but have no idea if its a ca original. I believe i have most of the exterior trim that comes with the xl package. I lost interest in the project and decided its best to let her go. Feel free to ask me questions.
