The truck has a murphy overdrive installed which allows easy freeway cruising. Starts first time and very reliable. The red pinstripe is just tape so can be easily removed if so desired. The truck is stored in my dayton ohio warehouse and ready for inspection and shipment.

Edelbrock 4bbl carb, front disc brakes, new leather seat and matching double cup holder. Auburn dash insert with all working autometer vintage line gauges. New spun alum 13. 5 gallon tank with working sender, new chrome dropped light bar. Chrome super bell drop axle and 4 bar linkage. Boxed frame, solid build, great running and driving vehicle. I do have the original top but it will need some repair work and reupholstered. The rear glass and bezel are in tack. *wooden box in bed not included... It is my tool box...

Truck runs and drives and stops i have only driven truck on and off the trailer, truck fires right up. Exhaust is going out the stacks which is super cool wish it had more growl but its quiet if i was keeping i would try going from headers right to the stacks to see if it has more tone. Thanks for taking the time to read my ad. While shooting ad i see the top radiator hose has a leak, and the windshield has a cloudy spot, exhaust sounds like its leaking at the exhaust gasket,i dont see a way to turn on the smaller lights mounted to cowl.

The chassis and all chassis parts are from pete & jake's. The front end is a chrome super bell dropped axle. The story i was told is that the truck was restored to original back in the 1960's. The previous owner bought the body and modified the firewall and cowl and put it on a new pete & jake's chassis. The body otherwise was left untouched. It has plenty of dings and wear and tear, paint has plenty of patina, far from a show truck. It is solid and a great running truck. The motor is a 283 sbc. The transmission is a th-350 , 3 speed. The rear end is a ford 9". All 3 have roughly 3k miles on them since they were rebuilt. The edlebrock manifold has an edelbrock 4bbl carb with an electric choke. The truck has front disc brakes and rear drums. I had the seat upholstered in new leather seat and matching double cup holder. Seen in the pictures is the stretched elastic weave i added to the seat bottom for added comfort. Has an auburn dash insert with all working autometer vintage line gauges. New spun alum 13. 5 gallon tank with working sender, new polished stainless steel dropped light bar. Wheel bolt pattern is ford 5 x 4. 5 i do have the original top but it will need some repair work and will need to be reupholstered. The rear glass and bezel are in tack. This original top is meant to be on or off, it does not fold like the aftermarket tops. This is a great running truck, does not smoke, leak fluids, or overheat. Stops on a dime and has plenty of power. I simply do not have enough leg room. Sadly, i am having to sell it. Things i did: added spun aluminum gas tank, added chrome tail light fender mount pedestals, added vintage agate shift knob, added new tailgate chains, added polished stainless headlight bar, reupholstered seat, added driver's side mirror and rear view mirror, and painted white headers black. *wooden box in bed not included... It is my tool box... Need to sell and need to sell soon.

The title work for this pickup is in process, and a notarized bill of sale on official montana motor vehicle department form will be given. Engine/transmission/rear end: the running gear of this pickup is the original ford model a running gear and will run and drive. The transmission shifts and the rear end turns well. The brakes are original mechanical brakes and should be gone through before driving the truck extensively. Body/sheet metal: the cab is the greatest concern on this pickup as it is in need of some sheet metal repair cab corners, door bottoms and cowl sides are in need of patch panels. The fenders, splash aprons, running boards are all solid and in good condition. The front radiator splash apron is missing. The box is in good condition needing only minor repair and a wood kit. We at montana vintage tin, llc are authorized dealers for brookville roadster, inc. And can supply all the needed replacement sheet metal, parts and bed wood in a separate purchase. The structural wood in this truck is sound and the cab is very complete. The hood is included and is in nice condition. The visor, although not on the truck, is pictured separately and included. Interior: even though there is not much to the interior of these trucks, this one is very complete including the seat frame, seat springs, gauge cluster, etc. The floors of the cab are very solid. The front floor is made of the original wood, but a steel front floor (18 gauge sheet metal) is available for purchase along with a recessed fire wall if desired. This truck is being sold in as-is, where-is condition and no warranty/guarantee, written or implied, exists with this vehicle.
