Pininfarina's design brought ferrari into the future, simple and forward thinking, yet elegant and menacing at the same time. Fueled by incredible performance, the testarossa was a massive hit and was considered an instant collectible. It is, without a doubt, one of the most dramatic and striking ferraris of all time. The tr retains all factory identification decals, plaques, trim, glass, upholstery and comes complete with original manuals in original leather folio, tool roll, emergency roll with jack and fuse/bulb holder. This ferrari benefits from meticulous servicing and care, providing an incredible driving experience and display. It's most recent "major engine-out service" was performed in september, 2015 at 8,454 miles by north coast exotics, inc. The service including removal of the engine and suspension assembly for replacement of new timing belts and tensioners, auxiliary belts, valve adjustments, new cam seals and cam cover gaskets, drain hoses, reseal distributor housing, replace spark plugs, oil/filter change. Additionally, a recent inspection has been performed the car is in excellent condition throughout. The testarossa is offered, along with clean carfax and autocheck reports. This testarossa is a great driver and can be driven confidently across country if desired. It comes with the euro version borla exhaust on the car the euro exhaust sounds better, runs significantly cooler, and provides more hp. Also included are original owners and maintenance manuals, tool kit, jack, spare tire, etc. The tires are eagle f1 and have good tread and sidewalls but they have a 2001 date code. They felt fine last week at around 130 mph for a few minutes.

Luigi della grotta was the original ferrari importer for all of canada, an owner of a factory authorized ferrari franchise dealership, and founder of the first ferrari club in canada. This testarossa was his personal car, a rare canadian example (u. S. 49-state legal) was ordered through his own dealership and retained as his personal car. When new, the car was driven by him and taken to various parades and shows with the luigi ferrari club, and later the club ferrari quebec, and it was frequently seen on display in his dealership as well. It is believed that during this time, the car was fitted with its current modified seats with contrasting black daytona-style inserts. The car remained unregistered from the time it was new until luigi passed away in 2012. Purchased by its previous owner from luigi's estate shortly after his death, it was registered for the road for the very first time just last year. Since then, the car has been regularly maintained and driven sparingly. Driven just under 4,900 kms since new, only 1,000 kms of which were accumulated by its previous owner. Since its purchase from luigi's estate, the car has been maintained by monaco prestige, a ferrari specialist based in saint-laurent, quebec, and run by luigi's former chief mechanic, ralph mastromonaco. In april of 2012, the car received an oil change and new battery, and its fuel filter was replaced. In march of 2015, the car returned to monaco prestige for a major service. The engine was removed, and its timing belts, valve-cover gaskets, seals, o-rings, shocks, and brake hoses were replaced. Receipts for both of these services, along with its original books, tool kit, and jack, accompany the car. For the tifosi looking for a car with a great story, there can be no better testarossa..
