For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. 1981 d150. Motor is 225 slant 6 converted from lean burn system to breaker point ignition. Interior is in very good condition along with all the glass. All electrical functions seem to work except the windshield washer and rear license plate light. The truck runs down the road very well with no unusual noises or rattles. The front end seems tight and all the tires are matching goodyear integrity tires with the rears having less than 500 miles and the fronts at about 70%. The truck does have surface rust and rust through in numerous spots but the floorpans are solid and no serious rust causing frame integrity problems. No spare tire currrntly. Some of the recent work consists of new spark plugs and wires, cap and rotor, front calipers and pads and a professionally rebuilt carburetor.

D 250 the 1981 was the 1st year of the dodge ram line, year one for the dodge ram.. Brand new firestone tires.. I had a brand -new windshield installed by safe-lite auto glass just prior to this winter.. A new rear chrome bumper and this would be car & truck show ready.. This is a looker of a truck.. I have a new set of blue led dash lights for that true old school mopar look.. 360 v8, automatic trans.. Power brakes, power steering, stock am/fm radio.. Last fall i purchased the truck in kennewick washington, where there is no rust from winter salt.. I then paid an auto transport company to deliver it to me here in berlin, wi.. Feel free to contact me about shipping if needed.. Just prior to this last winter i replaced the engines lifters & pushrods, cam & cam bearings, timing chain & timing chain gears.. I have rebuilt the distributer with a new pick up coil, ballast resister, electric control module, distributer cap, and a new coil.. I have new custom blue spark plug wires and champion spark plugs.. In addition to all of that i added a new holley carb.. I replaced the ecu wiring with a new mopar ecu plug and wires.. Less mess, looks great and better than what came stock, keeping old wires that have sat on a hot engine for 36 years just is not cool.. The new wires from the ecu to the distributer are heavily insulated against heat.. The paint is good, the dash is not cracked & looks great.. I started working on the truck just as winter hit.. I did a bit more work recently but have yet to finish the job.. I have been a mechanic for 40 years, and a mopar / dodge guy all my life and know my trucks.. The truck will need a seat cover.. It was driven onto the auto transport trailer & i drove the truck into my driveway.. The truck was not driven since then, as i noted i have yet to finish installing the new spark plug wires, and i need to replace the water pump gasket.. In addition the truck is being sold where it sits.. I have done this for others.. AM/FM

It has the 5. 2l 318 engine and this truck runs great. It is a little cold blooded like any older truck but once it warms up it runs like a champ. This is a w250 which is a 4x4 that is a 3/4 ton and has the club cab and long box. This is a 1 owner truck and only has 35k original miles on it which is unheard of for a truck like this. These trucks usually have a ton of miles on them and are all beat up but not this one. Under the hood and under carriage are clean and dry as can be. Make sure to watch the video i do a complete walkaround of the truck inside and out and even go on a test drive in it. It is two tone in color with the tan on top and bottom and the orange in the middle. The paint is in excellent condition on this truck and has a very nice shine to it. It looks like the truck was parked under cover most of the time. It has the big factory chrome camper mirros on it. The bed of the truck is straight and not all beat up but does have some holes and some surface rust. That is the worst on the truck. The body is straight and only has a couple minor dings here and there. Has the nice dog dish hubcaps that are in good condition but is missing the back drivers one. The tires are a newer set of uniroyal tires that i would say have atleast 85% tread left. These are really nice tires that have a lot of miles left on them. Options: automatic transmission 5. 2l 318 engine 4x4 club cab the interior is super clean on this truck. This is where it really shows how low the miles are on the truck. The bench seats show almost no wear on it at all and there are no rips or tears in it anywhere. This is rare on seats like this. It has the black rubber that is very clean and still looks great in the truck but does have a couple small tears in it. It has the factory radio that does work. This is just a rare truck that has super low miles, runs great, and has been very well taken care of over the years. Call anytime with questions…. Front drivers and rear passenger trim pieces are missing. Back drivers hubcap is missing. Bed has some holes and surface rust. Rubber flooring has a couple small cracks in it.
