I believe he was the second owner the original owner died in the 1980’s and my dad bought it from his son. We had it bored 30 over replaced the pistons and bearings and had hardened valves installed so unleaded fuel is no prob. He drove it regularly to church on Sunday and several trips to West Virginia

The owner states the miles shown are original. This beauty is highly original. This iconic chrysler is a florida car from new -- purchased at a. Clark in orlando, the dealers identification remains on the rear of the car. Mechanically the only abnormalities uncovered were multiple bulbs needing replacement (which we accomplished). The top works but is slow and difficult to latch. Cosmetically this wonderful chrysler has virtually no rust. We say virtually because the floors, trunk and frame are in wonderful original condition. The doors and quarters have some bubbles that we suspect might be some minor rust. The leather interior shows very well for its age. The paint has been refreshed some time ago remains very presentable. The convertible top cloth, although serviceable, is old and probably needs replacement. A great post war classic. And it's affordable. $23500 the old forge advantage contrary to industry practice old forge motorcars performs an extensive multi-point inspection on every car we offer for sale.

It is very rare with only 954 of them being produced in 1950. Mechanically the car is excellent. Nice easy starting, whisper quiet motor with smooth shifting transmission and great stopping power. The car is all original with the exception of a paint job on just the top about 20 years ago. Other than that, nothing has been changed on the car and all chrome including the dash are there and in great condition. It came from an estate with a lot of chrysler vehicles and is exempt, but the odometer shows 49,599 miles. It has the original flathead 6-cylinder engine with the 3-speed manual fluid drive transmission with overdrive. It is equipped with an am radio with push button presets, full gauges, clock, lighter, backup lights, dual outside mirrors (we have an oem driver’s mirror that is not in the current pictures), electric wipers and bumper guards. Everything is original just as it left the factory, including the 6-volt electrical system. The interior is in excellent shape, as are the headliner, seats and carpet. The body on the car is in incredible shape with no rust but the paint is starting to show its age with some patina. All this car really needs is a quality paint job to be of show winning quality all around. Even the trunk still has some of the “fuzz” on the inside of the fender from the factory. All the glass is good and the doors open and close like new. The undercarriage is good and solid. This time capsule is being offered at $16,900. 00 or $199. 00 per month with 20% down and approved credit.
