Up for auction is this 1963 Imperial Crown Coupe. A rare automobile and the lastinfluences of the head designer at Chrysler/Imperial, Virgil Exner. It's innumber 3 condition and is a well maintained original car with one repaint thatwas done years ago. I bought the car about 10 years ago. The automobile residedin Wyoming before I bought it. I'm selling it due to loss of storage. Theodometer shows just under 74,000 miles which, judging by the condition of thecar, is most likely the actual mileage. I've put about 10,000 of thosemiles on it in the last 10 years. The engine runs excellent and is well tuned. The originalCarter AFB carburetor has been properly rebuilt a couple of years ago. Theengine starts fine unless it hasn't been running in a few weeks or more andthen it requires more cranking to get started... but once it starts it'sokay until it sits for an extended time again. The transmission has alwaysworked well and shifts properly. There are no engine or transmission leaksbeyond a drop or two. When I first bought the car the brakes were inspected anddeemed to be good. They have always worked well and I have done nothing to themover the years. They still work well but, in line with good it might be a good time to check them again. The factory singleexhaust was converted to dual exhaust before I bought the car and two new Walkermufflers were installed a couple of years ago. Resonators were not installed soit's probably.

The exhaust has a leak at the Y-pipe, Brakes could use adjusting, and the only power window that is working is the right rear. I have not had time to look into it yet but Im thinking it is the master switch or the ground wire for the windows. This cal has a 413 big block motor, push button transmission, power windows, a very odd shaped steering wheel, and a grey leather interior Power Windows
